Can I clone this plant?

Hello! I am trying to clone my first plant I ever grew...it is now almost 9 weeks old. I made a mistake topping it the second time and it did not show any signs of new growth of the 4 tops you're supposed to get when topping the second time...I notice that the plant now has 2 other lower nodes which have grown past the point of the branch I snipped.

My question is, can I create a clone of this mother plant if I cut the middle stem in the place which is marked in red in this pic? Will it ruin this mother plant if I do this?

The issue here is you plant is in the ground, any cutting will have to resort to veg, tho no biggy to many noobs, it will may cause some stress, first try to get even more light on your plant, as I think it ain't in the best position, clones for GG growers are best taken b4 you plant out

The plant is actually in a 5 gallon pot so I can move it to a sunnier spot...thanks for the tip. I still need to know if I can possibly clone that middle branch or not? it has 2 fan leaves attached to it and has failed to show signs of growth since I topped it 17 days ago. The 2 branches I cut in the middle have 2 tiny growths on either side of them but they didn't grow. They haven't gotten a lot of light lately either..Do you guys think the cutting would grow under lights indoors?

Excellent: she needs more light, and once she shows some re growth clone her, use a bubble cloner for better results
