When I transplanted it on sunday I put some myco endo on the roots.I don't know, what have you been doing for her?
Don't think that is your issue. When I transplanted it on sunday I put some myco endo on the roots.
How long should I wait till I give it some compost tea? I think my plant looks a little nitrogen deficient, what do you guys think? Doesn't my plant look a little nitrogen deficient?look like burn to me since its the edge of the leafs like that and no specs of anything anywhere else
I'm using fox farm soil. Remember I gave you my soil recipe? What soil/media are you using?
What exactly are you feeding?
If only teas,,,,what exactly are you putting in them when you brew?
For now, water with straight pHed to 6.5 water and I'll give you a better answer when you answer my questions
Oh yeah,,,,sorry, I remember you now.....(I answer SO many posts here) LOLI'm using fox farm soil. Remember I gave you my soil recipe?
I make a compost tea that consists of 1 gallon RO water, 3tbsp worm castings, 1 tbsp fish bone meal, 1tbsp crab shell, 2 tbsp alfalfa meal, 1 tsp kelp meal.
Oh ok, i'll check it out. I'm getting worried because a lot of leafs are dying and the new leafs that are coming out have burned tips.Oh yeah,,,,sorry, I remember you now.....(I answer SO many posts here) LOL
According to your soil recipe,,,,,,I would simply water with strait water (pHed to 6.5 of course)......
If you feel you need to add a feed,,,,,just use Fox Farms ORGANIC Big Bloom.....Don't be alarmed by the low NPK,,,it works wonders for us "super soil", "water only" style growers!!! Say once a week as needed,,,,,maybe increase if need be to every third watering......I doubt it though.
Your Tea mix is rather hot for the soil your using.....You could cut that down by using maybe a cup of the tea to a gallon of water......That's up to you which to try.....I love the FF though.
No they don't really. They look like they are getting over feed. That is causing some blocking....I attribute that to the hot Tea formula.....If he had just used strait water,,,He would be just peachy......You see, I asked for his "super soil mix" and I got it.They look deficient in Nitrogen, Iron, Zinc, Sulphur, Magnesium? My guess is you over did it and the roots are damaged a bit. They probably cant handle the needs of plant so deficiency is what u see. Just my Guess. I would flush, ditch the teas and other organic nutes that u cannot see the levels correctly and foliar feed something well rounded and predictable at 1/2 strength. Give the roots a break to dry a bit and re-establish.
"hot" makes cold. Lockout of the nutrients on my list is likelyNo they don't really. They look like they are getting over feed. It was a "little" hot in some things, but I felt that it should work out ok if he did the water only thing.
I most likely would have done some layering of the soil in the pot at transplant....but it was to late for that....
Next time put about an inch of nice fresh worm castings on the bottom. Then fill to about 2 inch's from half full with your super soil. Now add 2 inch's of the BASE soil. Fill to 2 inch's from full with more of the super and top with 1 inch of the nice fresh worm castings. That should leave you with 1 inch of open space for watering and that should settle a bit in time , so your golden there....
Try that on your next run and when you feel or see the need for a bit of "feeding". Use the FF Big Bud, mixed as directed on the label.
To address your tea,,,,,use what you listed in 5 GALLONS of water for brewing it ( you can adjust the amounts by weighing each and doing the math to make 1 gallon if need be) and STILL cut it by using 1/2 to 1 cup of the tea to straight water for feeding.
Yup...Straight water it out....no flush, just straight water..."hot" makes cold. Lockout of the nutrients on my list is likely
Thx for the replies guys. I've been watering it with straight water and this is how it is now..Yup...Straight water it out....no flush, just straight water...
Thanks for posting that. Nute burn looks a lot like a zinc deficiency. What I find odd is that my other plant was getting fed the same and it has no signs of nute burn.
