Water Curing

if you like your weed to look all brown and be pretty flavorless, but smokes smooth, water curing is great.. if you, on the other hand, after months and months of growing, prefer your weed to look and smell it's best, then water curing is not for you..
yes, i've tried it once, that should answer the question, lol.. i don't get it, bud looked like ass, literally, and smelled not much better.. yeah, water curing isn't for me..

My last 3 grows I water cured 85% of my harvest. Unknown strain that didn't taste good anyway ..
as racerboy said, smooth but basically tasteless, and it does look like junk.
the one benefit (reason I tried water curing) is when you use it for cooking! I enjoy making butter and such and used to always get the"green taste". Not anymore !! Makes a huge difference for edibles !!

My brother tried this water cure thing, soaking the green bud. I didn't care much for it so I'll stick with what I know works best:)

Thanks guys. I don't think I'll do this. Appreciate the replies
hey, if you wanna try it, do it on a couple of small buds and see if you're into it. you surely don't have to do an entire crop this way only to find out later you don't like it..
i think i only did a few small buds myself to see if it was something i'd like or not.. you never can tell, you can read people's opinions online all day, but till you try it for yourself, you'll never know.. :D

I was more curious than anything. I like the smell and taste so I'd be losing out lol. Thanks for the suggestion though.

yeah, it's not something i suggest, but at the same rate, i didn't want to discourage you from trying it if you had wanted to.
plus now i wanna try it again for edibles if it helps with that green taste.. :D

Thanks man. I'm just trying to learn. I may even use your advice and try it out on a small bud. I've been growing the plant for three months now. I want to try it out haha

Um, its not for everybody. but I kinda like to do it sometimes... sometimes I have friends just dying for a taste,I'll have water cured buds ready... its just faster than the dry and cured stuff. Whats funny is the lightness of the smoke kinda catches people off guard. Alot less harsh than fast dry buds.. potency is there,

It's a great way to help out a harsh or nasty tasting strain. As I said above it's great for cooking also.
It seems so wrong to chop and drop in a bin of water .. but as long as you change water 1 or 2 times a day the only thing that will happen is loss of taste and harshness.
