Creating your own glass?

Ok so after a much longed search i found a glass blowing instructor 1on1 for 2hours for 140$(glass included etc).
he's located down in san diego is this price legit?he's the only one i have found.
Also eventually i would like to be able to do this out of my own home,is this possible?.
And if so what would be the supply's and requirements and such?im confused on that end.If someone could direct me to a website or chat about it.

my friend use to blow at his teacher/friends house i remember he said something about a personal furnace??? anyways his teacher worked at a local glass blowing center and did his own stuff on the side in his garage... but i can at least tell you that its definitely possible, you just need a lot of cash to start cuz that shit is expensive.

a buddy of mine back in high school did this, he had a box that had two gloves attched to it that allowed you to slip your hands into and he would create bad ass glass pieces in it,LOL. pretty cool if you have the skill and patience. I smoke more blunts so wouldnt fly with me.....but Good luck awesome idea

make sure you have a good exhaust fan in front of you if the glass pops on you breath out until its cleared away you don't want that shit in your lungs, they say blowing glass takes time off your life for the simple reason that you inhale glass and metal particles. you need a propane tank a oxygen tank and a table torch (or lamp) oh and of coarse you need a kiln you can get a small one for not too much but that shit is still a lot o cash, oh and glass dildo's sell really well if you got a chick that can set up at one of them lesbian festivals it's been 3 years since ive picked up a torch and if you were on the east coast i might know a lot of ppl that could help you out 70 dollars an hour is'nt bad

well you use the same tools to make em and the best thing to learn would be to make your own hollow tube out of solid rod, you kinda just blow a hole through it and its a bit stronger than using hollow rods oh yea and learn to use a stump sucker you can do sum cool shit with them

oh im srry dude yes you would use a solid rod for a dildo and then you can warm it in the oven or cool it in the freezer if your into that sorta thing, i should have clarified that srry but you still use the same tools to make it and you can even melt little nubs on their for pure pleasure ori don't use one but if your into that sorta thing have fun

might hurt i wouldn't know but they used to sell good, pipes i have so f'ing many pipes i don't use still i would sell em but since i moved to rural america i don't know anyone see anyone or want to, thats why i grow my own weed so i can stay under the 2 cops in town radar they don't come all the way out here ever so im' cool
