when you continuously cross those hermies with additional strong male genes from good stock the hermie gene can be "weeded" out.....
This is true....but it will take many generations to do so,and unless it is truly killer bud, probably not worth the troublewhen you continuously cross those hermies with additional strong male genes from good stock the hermie gene can be "weeded" out.....
Just the growing itself can be very satisfying...but the harvest is always better...hermie seeds will carry that genetic trait...It is said that hermie seeds will tend to be female, but with the genetics to be hermie,it seems that it wouldn't take much stress to make them flip....not a geneticist here tho...if I had plenty, trash em
Excellent tip about the compost...and pretty buds tooI have so many seeds i could start a seed bank.... so the hermie seed is trashed.
Have you ever heard of anyone using the trim to make compost?
I have just been throwing it all in my compost pile... along with everything else from my little garden.
Here's a few of the harvest at 90 days...
