Im very surprised on how little of smell these girls are giving off. I have no odor control because there is really no smell. I've had friends over who had no idea that I had bud growing until I showed them. I don't know if it's because the strain or just because led lights dont produce that much heat. I feel if I was using hps it would smell a lot more but then I don't know because I've never grown with hps.

I am very curious about this as well. Does any member have some input as to why there was minimal odor during his grow? Any additional tips on controlling the smell are always appreciated.Thanks everyone.

With leds there is very little heat compared to hps. I feel the heat brings out the smell more but I could be wrong. I Hear that Ona gel works well if not you could always get a carbon filter.

What % of odor is neutralized with a kick ass carbon filter and a couple Ona gels? Will the smell still be noticeable after said precautions were made? Thank you.

For the Ona gel I really don't know what % of odor they eliminate but with the carbon filter made by Phresh filter they claim 90%. You can always check amazon reviews on both products and see what people say who have bought them. The more important question is how many girls are you going to grow and what strain.

I'd love to have one to two stellar plants in a small tent...smell control is the only road block. Carbon filters and Ona gels are in place but curious to know what % smell it will definitively neutralize. Thanks man

Ona gel buckets (large ones) do an OK job at eliminating odors. With the carbon filter in the mix, you should have minimal odor if noticeable at all.

I used two ona buckets to eliminate ordors from a 3x3 tent. Put one by the tent and one by the window. Just be sure to shake the gel around every once in a while.

@puffenuff may I ask your opinion... if the space is an enclosed room with a good exhaust. Will the room have a noticible odor if using proper 6" carbon filter and a couple large Ona gels?

I would say you will have virtually no odor besides whatever scent ona gel you choose. I like the fresh linen scent personally.
