flushing halfway through what do I do

I seem to be having more problems now so I think I got salt build up in my soil I know how to flush but never done it halfway in flower do I flush the soil then leave it dry then continue feed as normal or flush it with water then last amount of water add nutrients to it I'm a little confused

Theres a couple ways you can do it. I personally recommend the Water Only method, of not feeding it for a week, giving it a gallon of water every 2 - 3 days for a week - a week and a half. If you have high light intensity your soil will dry faster so u can water it a gallon every 2 days. keep ur pH level adjusted to 5.5-6.5 , and dont get antsy, she will get there.

the second method i use is i have a liter of bushdoctor sledge hammer (A nutrient flushing agent) i mix about 4 mL in a gallon of water and put my pot on top of another pot with a small board across the top so it doesnt sink into the pot allowing open drainage and dump that gallon in with a half - full gallon of water on top of it to get the soil to flush and drain heavily. it wont damage your plant and it gives successful results but there are obvious risk factors to this method. hope this helps m8. good luck.

I would recommend a different approach, one that I call the "Dissolve and Flush":

First you need to dissolve the salts and other nutes. Do this by watering with an amount equal to the size of your container. This first round of water will break down the salts and other nutes. Then about 15-20 min later, flush those broken down salts, etc. with more water (again, equal to the size of your container, or more).

Then, leave your plant alone until the soil is completely dry. Completely dry means that you will see the soil starting to pull away from the sides of its container. At that point, water it properly with a bloom feed mixture. You're only half way through bloom, so there's no reason not to feed and every reason to do it.

One last comment: Are you sure you have lock-out in the first place?

I'd start back to feeding in 1/4 to 1/2 strength after the royal flush.

Think about it: Flushing is done to remove salts and nutrients. Why would you add them back in DURING a flush? It's not logical. Besides, because of the volume of water you'll be using to do a legitimate flush, most of the nutrients you add to your water will just run right out the bottom of the container.

And Greenlikemoney is right: After your flush and dry-time, feed lightly. Otherwise, you'll shock the lil' lady.

Sounds like you need more water, then. You want it to run out the bottom of the container, both during the "dissolve" step and the "flush" step.

If it didn't go all the way thru, then you didn't flush. Typically you would flush with 2 to 3 times the pot volume. 20 liter pot gets flushed with 40-60 liters of water, preferably 60 liters.

Right guys here's what I done my I watered my plant with normal feed but my son decided to sneak in there and dump another 4 litres on top of the 6 I already gave so I thought might as well try flush now with the amount of water been put in so I took her to the bath and added another 30 litres of water so have I done anything bad I was just told my plant will starve now and will continue to starve even when I give more feed when she's dry

So this is again different from the way I was advised by several long standing members I was told to use ur feeding schedule if u Feed it plant say 3ml of grow per litre(only an eg)and have ten ltre pots them 30ml must go in to the 30ltr of water for flushing?

The Correct way to do things is to use just enough nutes to keep your plants healthy without creating a salt build up, therefore, no need to leach, which is the correct term. flushing is what you do to turds.

Well by the looks of it I didn't do a complete flush so I will leave her dry oiy and continue feed as normal thanks mate

Yea that's wot I would do just watch her and c when she needs something she will tell u when she's ready if u gave her nuites in ur last watering she should b ok but mines at 6 1/2 weeks flower and I flush mine last week the way I suggested but I was strongly advised to add nuites to my flush because of how far on in flower I am but I couldn't honestly tell u if she benefited or not still sitting the same way as before it seems...
