following :)
I have only seen the 3000k bulb option for sale online so far. Did they offer any other spectrum bulbs when you ordered your Rocket Plasma? Just curious.
I'm in too.
Its all good grower! Many of us only grow for our own therapeutic/medicinal/holistic use. We're interested in seeing how new technology works with our favourite plant. Grow on! :)
I'm pulling up a chair for this one too.
Thank you. Just curious about the specs...as most people are. No biggie, OP. We're all interested in your grow, so grow on, m8!

The Rocket Plasma should be the best plasma to use from vegetative through to flower simply because of the color temperature of the bulb. Except for the Alphalite, which uses the same bulb and plasma technology as the Rocket Plasma. The color temperature for the Rocket Plasma/Alphalite is suppose to be around 3000k ( http://www.rocketplasma.com/rocketspecs/ ) and the lowest color temperature Gavita has I believe is around 5600k for the 41.02 emitter ( http://www.gavita-holland.com/index...ing-plasma/item/gavita-pro-300-lep-ac-eu.html ). I can't seem to find a color temp for the 41.01 emitter at the moment. All of the plasmas can be used through flower but. You will probably get better flowering results with the Rocket Plasma/Alphalite plasma lamps simply because of the lower color temperature bulbs. Even Gavita acknowledges that their plasmas are best used to supplement HPS or for vegetative stages.

"So in conclusion:
- We recommend the 01 version as most efficient to complement HPS light during the generative phase and suitable for short vegetative cycles
- The 02 version is also suitable for a combination with HPS, but has a better quality than the 01 for vegetative development, so it is best utilized in a pure vegetative environment or for sunlight simulations
- Use one Gavita Pro 300 LEP in combination with a maximum of 1200W HPS lighting for a better color spectrum which results in healthier plants, higher quality and a better yielding crop"

Since the Alphalite and Rocket Plasma have the same plasma technology you are left choosing between the two I guess. If it were me making a choice right now I would probably choose the Rocket Plasma. Simply because the company is more active online and I have seen multiple instances with the Rocket Plasma in grower's hands. The Alphalite website is the only legitimate information I have seen on it http://www.alphalite.com/US/index_us.html . I will admit that I do like the Alphalite website more than the Rocket Plasma website though.

That is one of the main reasons I would choose the Rocket Plasma. They seem to stand by their product considering your experiences and they have also been promoting the product at various places if you check out their instagram or facebook page. I do wish that the Rocket Plasma light design was more like Alphalite's though. The Alphalite design uses a few less inches of vertical height which isn't a huge deal i guess but. My vertical space is limited so I am trying to preserve as much of it as I can for my plants. I love me some satvas :bigjoint:

I do have one question for you that I have been wondering about though. Do you have to order the bulbs through Rocket Plasma? Or can you order them through the manufacturer? The Alphalite uses the same bulb so they have to be getting them from the same place.

i just call tanya and get it from her.. i have a question i am new so don't make fun. i just noticed the top pistils starting to turn an amber color. the crystals are clear and frostier than I've ever seen all the leaves all the way down to main stalk are frosty.. I'm telling you these are not as fat as my 400 HPS ( different strain too) but they are tight solid and oh so white they look they got snowed on ill see if i can get some good pics
