My dog has shaken a fox dead. On a side note he wiped out a whole pack of mink that were nesting under my beached boat. One went this way the other that way, after he got two of them I didn't stop him on the third. It went in the water and he was swimming under my dock trying to find it. One point from my hand he sighted in on it. Damn good hunting dog, not necessarily proud of it as I'm a meat hunter. He was just doing what he's born and breed to do.
Amen brother.
What type of hound you have?
I really want to get me a blue tick beagle for running down rabbits and the like. That and their awesome dogs.

Golden Retriever. Amazingly smart. Been my buddy since I was a teenager and my roommate since I first moved out. I could talk pages about him. Supreme water dog. I refer to him as smarter than most people. Instictual hunting dog, soft mouth, retriever, pointer.
There's a reason they use them on blind/ disabled people, they care about you. And will do anything they can for you. Needs positive reinforcement training to become your best friend (as with most or any dogs). Brings me my shoes/ geese (or whatever). Probably speaks 4 languages (I joke).
He's going on 10 years old and it saddens me thinking he could pass in the next few years. (not before we get some geese/ducks/grouse/pheasent in the upcoming weeks/months!) Also with his double coat he'll jump into freezing water for a bird without flinching. Water beads right off the fur.

Yea they are great dogs. I've never had one but known people who have.

I'm more than likely going to miss out on a lot of hunting this year, there is to much going on and just don't think I'll have the time. Maybe I'll be able to get out during bow season, but idk yet.
I had a horrible season last year. I got fined for not having one portion of my license to hunt on state land and then there were dog trainers coming out there on days they were not allowed on horses getting off the trails being loud..

Ugh.. Upsets me thinking about.

Hooka, I have tattoos and regularly manscape. Does this mean we can't be friends? sad face :(
Depends how much manscaping we're talking about. I have a family friend who shaved his entire chest. When he showed me there was stubble. Not good. No tats on him tho.
