I wish they were spaced out a little. Do you think they are too close to where my yeilds will suffer? Im going to lst the ones at the end outwards to give me a little extra space. I think my tubs are 38 gallons. And the root tub is seperate from the res

agreed 2 at most 3 would be pushing it, they will choke each others roots and drink that whole res each day.
It is a 32 gallon tub sacked on top of a 32 gallon resivour. I assumed thats a little over 5 gallons space per plant without any medium just air. The resivour is underneith the tub holding the nutes so the roots are suspended in air. I have a net up now to space the canopie out. With that being said, still not enough room. I its more room then your typical soil in a 5 gallon pot.

Dont assume anything. 6 5gal buckets probably wouldn't set in the same space. But its the quality of the product that counts in the end and you will have a ton of popcorn.

Yes it can be an issue, i have the same setup. Doesn't look to bad now but when they start the stretch it gets pretty busy. As for a ton of popcorn I have had different strains do different things. Some will grow lower branches very tall and produce bigger buds while some will produce popcorn. I have cut it too four plants in one system but have only completed one run, which had issues so did really produce any more or less than the 6 place one. If you were to pick a short, big main bud strain it may work really well. I'm still deciding what strains to concentrate on. If in doubt just leave a couple of pots with only medium in them and put less plants in on next run.
