i may be but its way to early to tell..thats a calyx that males and females both get..only time will tell if its got balls or not..if its a female it wont take long for the pistials to show up but just from the picture provided does not tell show us either one so its 50/50 chance at this point IMHO

You are wrong. Males do not get calyxes ever unless it is a hermaphrodite. You may be thinking of Stipules.
