DIY led grow

I dunno...my coco has stretched under every light she's ever been under. The bubba is a little stockier than the last few times I grew her.

Good enough...I've still many spectrums to play with. Just another round to examine.

Actually can't wait till this is done. My two favorite strains and they are looking better than ever
Have you considered scrog?

Not really to tell you the truth. I enjoy watching grows with the technique though.

Just trying to get to the point, I can throw a plant under a light, and have it grow a nice yielding bush.

So far so good. After I get final yield numbers I'll probably dial the power back to that number. Keeping me in a efficient zone.

Day 31

White is right

I've got a bud getting blasted at close range with no bleached tips. No weird deficiencys. Just healthy. Who woulda thought..

Still early..could get some bleaching. But nothing like a "targeted spectrum" would have done at this high an irradiance.

I'm think you're gonna get your fingers pretty sticky ,there..
And your brains ,loaded into a 'cannon' and shot to the furthest side of the universe ...

Great job ,so far ...

Cheers.

This herb is actually looking a little scary..haha. I was just thinking the other day I'd like to have a lighter strain that doesn't slow me down too much. High cbd strains are looking really good lately, especially getting older and all I could use the health benefits

@Positivity you are going to have some super dank hash from that trim

Looks like lots of sugar trim this time! Going to need to upgrade my crappy 1 gallon bag kit. It's way too hard trying to work with such a small bag.

Too bad the bubble bags are so expensive. Probably spring for them soon in the 5g size. Got a butane thingy but that sh!t scares me..think I'll leave that to the pros..

essential extract (nikka t) 5 gal bags are supposed to be in stock this week.. $160 for 8 bags. or the lite bubble bags $160. the original bubble bags are $345 but have a lifetime warranty and the lite bags have a 5 year warranty.

to properly make bho cost almost 5k to get set up. reclaim system $1300, vacuum oven $1800, vacuum $750, 190 proof alcohol $300, co2 n tank $150 or cost of butane or food grade ethynal.

Do you have 3 of your reflectors off on 3 of the COBs? Looks like the one in center of the cluster on the left and the two on the far right above the tallest plants.

Getting a better spread on the tallest tops minus the reflectors?

I only use the "work bag" now that I make dry ice hash.

Find a source of dry ice (usually very cheap), and look up the dry ice method. Youtube has a few good videos on it.

Definitely a lot easier and fast than making bubble the traditional way, and you preserve all the flavor/scent of the weed since it's a dry sieve. The first few seconds of shaking yields you a very blonde resin that smells amazing. Highest quality. After more time shaking, it comes out green, so it makes sense to keep the first 15-30 seconds separate from after.

its a lower quality though. but larger yield due to plant matter. then you have to dry sieve the dry ice hash a few times to clean it.. Full melt ice wax is where its at.

Thanks for the ideas on hash making guys

Sounds almost like the dry ice might be good for a first run and bubble hash to further use the material...might try that.

Pro setup bho is out of my league for now, I can't say I really like my highs that intense either. Although I've never had winterized top grade stuff ever before...would probably make the experience a lot more enjoyable not hacking a lung out from my amateur bho experiments.

Exactly bueno. The plant on the right got close to the light so I had to yank the reflectors. I figured the adjustability would come in handy. I do prefer the cxas reflected but they won't work well without some distance between.
