Dogs pissing on plants..

My dog keeps marking his territory on my plants since my new dog has arrived home.

Any ideas?

I was told anomonia (sp) but I'm not sure how to apply it.

I did, then I slapped him under the nose as hard as I could.

He knows what he does wrong its just a dominance thing.
Pitbulls are stubborn. Maybe I need to slap him harder and be more firm.

it doesn't matter what you do to a pit they'll think you're playing. just put up a little fence around it maybe

My dog is actually very obedient and knows when im serious. He just smells that piss from my other dog and they keep marking over it.

Maybe some anthrax will have to do ..

jk .. anyways they're both in pots and I move them once a day to keep direct sunlight. Im gonna coat the pot with amonia and see if that helps any.

I trained mine to guard my crop... best security ever... they know better than to mess with it at all, its easy, just surround your plants with posts that are at most two feet away! they will mark the post and protect your crop, especially if you put up a little fence, and show them that no one is allowed in there but you... i.e. bringing them to the boundary and making them stay right there, not allowing anyone beyond the barrier, and training them to know the smell of it.

Well although they know not to let anyone in the backyard, they're still pups so I think that might be a little difficult.

Thanks for the advice though. I'll stick to training them not to piss on it for now ... to be honest I think they got the point this last time.

damn he looks mean right?!??! ... hahaha.. noo.

And for size gestures, he weights 83 pounds and hes one tall mofo. Looks like he came out of a cartoon. I like to call him Mickey or Yoda, but his real name is Angus.
