Anyone know anything about mini bikes?

So I bought a minibike as a way to get to work and back.

Wife took one look at it and said "hell no" So now I'm trying to sell it.

Problem is... I don't know anything about it, as far as manufacturer, model, or even age.

I know it's got a 2 stroke pull start and takes a 2/7 gas/oil mixture (7 ounces of oil for every 2 gallons of gas).

trust me, if I had any choice in the matter I'd be keeping it. The thing is a blast to ride.

The guy that sold it to me smoked me out on dank before I rode it home.

So I'm riding through wooded back roads on the little mini bike, high as hell with "born to be wild" playing through my head... going about 20mph max.

I don't understand.

YOU bought it for work, and apparently YOU like it, and now you're trying to sell it because of your WIFE?

Keep it.

WTF is she gonna' do, leave? Let her. She'll come back.

If you do sell it, take the money you get and buy some balls, because apparently you don't have any.

Yeah, that thing is sick!!

Why wont the wife "let" you keep it? Its getting you to work, wtf are you supposed to walk?

Says it's too dangerous, and is afraid I'll kill myself on it.

I'm back to taking the bus for the time being. If I can get my money back for the minibike, tack on my next two paychecks (minus basic living expenses) I'll be able to make a down payment on a car, and she's agreed to cosign a loan for me. A decent compromise I think.

Does it run? Didn't you ride it to work one day and couldn't start it to ride it home?

How much you want? How much you pay?

Nah man, you're not going to kill yourself at 20 mph. I say keep it. That thing looks sweet!!

I'm pretty sure that's a Harley Davidson Electra Glide. Could be worth 8-10 grand. Probably a good investment, maybe keep it in your sock draw and sell it in 15 years time for maximum return on investment.

I think she's more worried about driving it in traffic as opposed to me driving it into a ditch.

It does run, and I drove it to work last week. Couldn't ride it home because it was out of gas. Get's good millage but has a small tank.

I'm just hoping to get what I paid for it, so 300$

Not a lot really for a little runner. I bought a little czech built mini bike for my boy when he was 2... No, i bought it for him. Really i did... based on a Riga moped (engine etc) but different frame. Good in a field, No-no for roads...

Looks old as shit !!

So ....I'd imagine it runs like a top and will for many more years.
Can't keep it as a toy? Get her to drive it! She may see the fun, especially if you live in the country ..

Send it to Spain! They're all a bunch of midgets over here! I'm constantly laughing at them at the traffic lights. Their feet can't even touch the floor and they are only riding sports bikes!

Keep it as a toy. I had a 50cc moto cross when I was 16 and I went all over the woods with my dog. It was great.

I had a Honda Scrambler 90cc when I was 14. It opened up the world

If the budget will allow it, I'd keep it for the side, you'll never know when that thing will come in handy.

You'll save $300 in no time

Mine was black and silver...I think it was my favorite bike. Later had a CB 350 and then a TR 650 Bonneville. Dropped the TR and got decently hurt (I was doomed, one of those situations). Then quit.
