All the government needs to do is remove the category from all government forms and cancel affirmative action.

The young generation doesnt look at race the same way anymore. America is growing out of racism with the usual small exceptions.
At least the Octoroon and Quadroon choices are gone

You all for the most part are not acknowledging that the United States is by FAR the most racily tolerant place in the world.

People that are sworn enemies in their own part of the world are neighbors here.

Affirmative action is a federal agenda initiated in the 1960s that’s designed to counteract historic discrimination faced by ethnic minorities, women and other underrepresented groups. To foster diversity and compensate for the ways such groups have historically been excluded, institutions with affirmative action programs prioritize the inclusion of minority groups in the employment, education and government sectors, among others.

Affirmative action is a federal agenda initiated in the 1960s that’s designed to counteract historic discrimination faced by ethnic minorities, limited to blacks only, women, only scarcely, and no other underrepresented groups. To foster "diversity" (I.E. racism) and compensate for the ways such groups have historically been excluded, institutions with affirmative action programs prioritize the inclusion of minority groups, limited to blacks only, in the employment, education and government sectors, among others.

I think its just a generation thing... people who are raised into thinking a certain way are more prone into thinking like their parents or grandparents did.

If you want to end racism then. Think people shouldnt even make race an issue about anythng. Why on the news does it make a difference if a white or black kid was killed? A human died and thats what mattera. Media exploiting such things only makes matters worst.

From experience, i am 24 and almost everyone i know doesnt give a crap about race. Black friends alway make jokes about their race and white race but it starts as a joke and ends as a joke. There is never judgment... its just crazy to see all this stuff on the news and to see people feed into race so much.

I can almost understand alot of older generations being stuck in their ways but if people could raise their kids without influencing them so negatively albiet race being any issue would be a thing of the past.

The media and these older generations (50s an up) stopped making a big deal out of nothing then things in 40 years thats are common to see now, would be remembered as immature ect.
It was that generation (50s an up) that passed the Civil Rights Act, Affirmative Action, and other legislation. That generation and those preceding it made the progress in race relations. Not yours. You didn't invent sex, either.

Oh, homeless people can wash a day or two a month. We're all equal now.

Looks like a typical prog. You do a minimal effort. I've give 10% of every dime I've ever made to my church. They run all kinds of ministries.

I take an additional 5% and donate to a different charity.

I've been involved in dozens of habitat for humanity homes.

But you don't charge people for a service that costs you next to nothing to give away. Big spender right there.
That was his claim, but I doubt its accuracy. Most homeless don't wash their clothes at all. They have access to more clean, used clothing than you can imagine. Literally, hundreds of TONS of used clothing is donated every day. Look in the cart of a homeless person. You won't find much clothing in there at all, if any. I find it odd that after years of posting here, Londonfog just now claims to be black.

Dude, I skim over 9 out of 10 of your posts. Don't make me read more than that to back up a claim I never made.

You ACT as an expert on nearly every subject here and turn it to race.

The only claim I'm attributing to you is you said something about dropping out of college because they couldn't teach you anything you didn't know.
To be fair, no one has ever been able to teach him anything. He already knew how to lie, that skill is what has made him what he is today.

again until you walk in the next man shoe's ...you are clueless. You make judgements knowing nothing. Did you actually say that most people in the south like blacks better than those up north.Dumbest statement you have made yet. The south has some of the most racist inbred fucks I have ever had the displeasure of running into. I don't make excuses, but I do see the truth and adjust to it. White people like you kill me thinking you know what it is like to be black in America.
I have no clue what it's like to black and don't claim to. I know what it's like to be a human being and I'm unique just as you are unique. If you claim to know what it's like for blacks all across America you are doing exactly what you accuse "us white folk" as doing. It was different for you as it was different for your neighbors as it was different people in Detroit as it was different from people in Denver.

Celebrate our differences and you'll get past race, we are all individuals and no matter how much you want to group people, our struggles and successes are individual.

Your group think and collectivism leads you to bigotry and a forceful leadership. If you have a brother, you know you are different from him as you are from me. Skin tone only affects people who let it. Stop letting it.

And yes, the south has some racist inbred folk, as does Portland, as does Boston, as does Detroit, as does Chicago.

Not saying they did nothing to help or that younger generations helped in the fight but AT THIS POINT IN TIME, the fight could be over. Racism is alive because people continuously bring it up and put it on a pedestal. It can be overwith with new generations. Its media and these older people who just cant keep mouth shut.

You think that an african american child will growup to hate white people cause action he never personlly witnessed and his parents were not involved in? Its only even a part of society because people bring it up and have their comments to say. The REAL racist acts of violence end up with people going to jail. Much of todays "racist acts" are considered racist because a 3rd party who has nothing to do with it says a dumb comment and start an arguement or debate that is irrelevant.

Name one thing in that shooting that is from racism... did he go to complex and shoot kid while wearing a white outfit? No, he was attacked. White or black, he was attacked. He should have just called in and chased kid when he ran instead of shoot but ..

There is nothing racist about what happened but yet somehow race is brought into it by media.

You have to be the dumbest fuck ever. They will wash clothes and wash themselves if given the opportunity. Some will even see if you have any extra clothes that people left.
Just because you are to stupid to have known I was black/brown does not mean that info was not out there. Others have known for years. I see now how you have so many misfortunes in your life. You don't pay the fuck attention.

In 40 years, no one alive will have felt what actual slavery was. But racism will still go going strong because many kids grow up watching it be exploited on tv and from these elders and parents or siblings whispering shit in their ear.
