Mason Dixon line is the border with Pennslvania. Maryland always had a lot of black people, not just from the Great Migration. Another sign it's in the South.

Like I said, previous to the great migration there were no blacks in NJ. There were tons in MD because S. MD is all tobacco farms. Go there, it's more Southern than you realize. I used to live there. Plus, MD nominally was in the Confederacy and was a slave state, though lots of areas were against it.

Yes they were a slave state but never seceded. They were allowed to keep their slaves after the emancipation proclamation. They were not a part of the southern rebellion.

Again, New Jersey. They have swamps just like Louisiana... Doesn't make them a southern state.

Racism is conquered much more in the South by now due to countless Consent Decrees.
