Are u adding up buds and leaves combined?

...really, I let mine get about 3' and bushy and then I throw 'em in flower...
I've never understood that here. There seems to be a lot of folks who go straight to 12-12 from seed or flip them a week or 2 from sprouting. 1/4 to 1/2 oz. It's pretty small. You could get 3/4 if it really fattens up.
I know, I don't know who started the 12/12 from bean thing, cause it still takes at least 2 months to mature and start showing any sign of flowering...may as well spend that time in the light (I do 18/6) and grow big...Although Bakatare666 did some nice ones, 12/12 from beans...well bigger than I thought they would be anyway..

I did 12/12 from beans and only 10 grams
I do have a perpetual grow and I do have separate rooms for veg and flower, but when your talking about time and energy wasted, not to mention small yields, IMHO it's better to veg, cause you're not getting this with 12/12 from bean......

and it does matter who what were and why...I understand some people have restrictions on their grows and 12/12 will not take up as much room as a veg room will...
