What if the cops story is true?

he assaulted a police officer, attempted to take his gun and then after a short chase decided to charge the officer.
good job on believing everything the cops have to say, even when there are 4 eyewitnesses who directly contradict that account.

you're doing apache junction proud.

And if he had only done that then yes, shooting him would have been total excessive force.

However, he assaulted a police officer, attempted to take his gun and then after a short chase decided to charge the officer. I am choosing to believe Josie's side of the story because cops dont pull people into police cruisers.

Police process 12 million arrests in this country per year. I think that is excessive and the drug war plays way too much into it. However, the police overall are pretty good. There are certainly bad cops and cops out of control. Why havent I seen the video of the cop who lost it and started pointing his rifle at people and telling them he was going to kill them if they didnt get back? Oh yeah, cause he is probably already fired.

I dont fault the police for most of this however. They have to enforce all the laws the legislatures pass and it is more and more each year.

Broken record but we need to eliminate a lot of bullshit legislation. No crime, no criminals, no criminal activity...
Amen. That is the root cause of the problem.

You guys are absolutely retarded. lol

I am not kidding in any way, shape or form. You are dumb.

Cop shoots unarmed suspect 6 times, twice in the face. All the suspects fault.... because he pushed a guy, punched a cop, and ran..... totally cool to shoot a mother fucker in the crown because he punches you.

I'll keep that in mind next time some lippy dude at the bar punches me. Shoot him in the head, it's cool because the cops can do it. True story.

If that was the scenario we would all be outraged.

Why do the people who are calmly asking for the evidence to be provided have to get beaten to death by hearsay until it happens??

you're not asking for any evidence, you just keep repeating the cop's account as if it is the unquestionable truth of all truths.

idiot.
Does it make sense to you that the police officer who was 5 foot something and looks to be maybe 190 pounds soaking wet decided he was going to grab hold of a 6' 4" black man and drag him into his car? Do you think this is a new control technique the cops have learned??

Part of the eyewitness testimony just does not make sense.

Australia.
How big was the guy? 5'2" or 6'7"? 98 pounds or 385? What was he wanted for? Did he have a weapon? What did the witnesses have to say? Did the cop fall down and accidentally shoot the suspect and get hit with a ricochet? What color was the perp?

That news story is weak.

I just watched that video and the EYEWITNESS said that Mike Brown was still advancing on the officer. I am not sure how he got from 20-25 feet away to right next to the officer but the guy was busy getting his camera phone ready and running through his apartment when he would have EYEWITNESSED if mike brown was running at the officer or not.

He seems honest but I am not sure if his testimony is reliable. He couldnt hear the shots but he could see the shots?? LOL!!

Michael Brady

He didnt see what started the altercation and he was busy running through his apartment, NOT being an eyewitness at the critical moment when the question of whether Michael Brown came back at the officer or not.
