Well, I haven't been spending soo much. But I thought these tools would help out:

But, yes I see your point. I just did a big flush of both plants last night. I hope the worse-off one bounces back.
The other one is blooming in full force and seemed to grow a few inches overnight after the flush.

Alexander & Jacksthc, I also ordered some Hydro Organics Cal-n-Mag plant food. I'll introduce a bit of that once it arrives.
Thanks for that diagnosis.

Greenlikemoney, thanks for the soil advise. I will try this next round. I have already learned a lot since I first sprouted these couple seeds a few months ago! I originally had the seedlings in Miraclegrow Organic Garden, which was full of bark & many many mushroom spoors. I quickly switched them to the fox farm soil when they were burning up in that horrible dirt.

Again, thanks for all the help and advise everyone. I am pretty happy with the grow so far, I think I just got too excited and added too much too soon. I was siked to see that I had lucked out with 2 females! Also, the sick one seems to be on the Indica side, and the thriving one on the Sativa side. :D
Hey man. Look at ebay for the meter. Its usually a little cheaper there. 5 bucks or so. but that 5$ you can spend on something else. Peace man

Well I've read this whole thread and not one person recommended he add garden lime to his soil, pretty much PH worry free from there...I put 1/4 cup lime to a 5 gal pot of soil and mix it in real good, get it wet a few times (not soaked) and stir it around for a couple days before using and then...well no need for a PH meter then, that problem solved, on to your next one...and I use my tap water it has some good shit as well as bad shit, but it works just fine, let it set out and open for no less than 6 hours before using it...your tap water should have some calcium in it already so just get some Epsom Salts=Mag of Cal-Mag and add a 1/2 tbsp. per gallon whether just water or added with nutes...and most important to remember is LESS IS MORE...she'll tell you when she's hungry, cuz wow she's pissed off right now from a force feeding or 5...lol...

Hi cell1988, yea water has always flowed out the bottom, and I just flushed them quite a lot.

Maybe I have too much perlite and that is one of my problems, I said 35% but looking at it...maybe its more like 50%....

Riknstein, thanks for the input. Are you talking about the lime being in my next soil...or can I add it to my current pots? I would have to re-pot them.

Today things are not looking great. A lot more brown edge older fan leaves and many of the leaves on both plants are showing THE CLAW. :(

So awful watching this plant take a turn for the worse.

Yesterday I tried a little bit of Cal + Mag. For what its worth the PH probe is saying the soil at the roots is around PH 8. I tested some water yesterday and the PH probe is actually showing the same readings as my calibrated PH pen. When I put water in the soil that is at 6.2, the soil levels will lower for a short while but then always skyrocket back up to around 8. I can't help but think this is why my plant is locked out. What can I do to lower my root level PH. Should I re-pot? Flush again?

On a sidenote, I have always been very lenient when it came to adding nutrients. Adding a bit less than the fox farm chart was telling me.

Thanks!

Replant your plants in fresh soil, just what vostok said. Seems like your growing medium is fucked up.
I would replant them ASAP.

Peace.

Ok, you mean what greenlikemoney said?

40% FFOF, 40% Happy Frog, 15% perlite and the remaining 5% a mix of EWC, dolomite lime and bone meal. No nutes for 30 days.

Cool, I ordered those new soil ingredients and will replant and trim the root a bit. The happy frog won't be here for a few days so I hope they hold out! I have a small mixed bag of perlite 40% and 60% FFOF. I am going ad more Happy frog to the rest as well as organic castings, dolomite lime & meal. Please bounce back!

yer I would trim the root mass back a little and re pot, sounds like a good ideal to me
