Shouldn't need irradiation to begin with, how many dispensaries in Colorado, California, or any of the other 13+ medical states irradiate product? Hint: NONE. They all test. So WTF is the major problem up here?

I know for a fact that one of the largest growing operations in the states uses a significant amount of sprays/treatments on their plants and do not have to test to the same standards we do up here. MMPR plant treatment options are slim AFAIK.

The saddest part is that if this does become regular practice then out go some of the medical benefits(Terpenes). Also, with there being no studies done on what smoking irradiated cannabis does physiologically to the body, I will have NO problems continuing to boycott the system. Maybe if they offered an irradiated version for people in those particular circumstances instead of irradiating a whole batch for the sake of a few people. Supposedly Colarado is loosely following the tobacco pesticide restrictions.

....condition specific marijuana....isn't that one of those things that makes you go hmmmmm? And are they going to tell me what strains are going to work for my pain and muscle spasms? How do they know which strains are effective? Do they have customers specifically asking for strains? Why is there always so many questions when it comes to buying med mari through LP's?

this has gotten me from the get go. i asked canna farms what strains would be best suited for my anxiety and depression and they responded with "we are not medically licensed so we can't provide specific information. all we can say is that some patients use green crack. here is a link to leafly" .. if thats the case, how can organigram put their strains in specific categories? weed is a hard medication to do that with because of how it can effect people differently.. i think thats a bad call on their part.

Yeah, but they are excited about it because no one else seems to be able to do it.
It is a long race, but being approve to ship irradiation-free product puts them ahead of numerous competitors already.

That said, having actual supply or anything remotely close to real product would put them ahead of everyone else.

cannafarms doesn't irradiate. thats why i went with them.. i actually was going to go with organigram because i liked their strain list and their localish. but i called and the wait list was stupid long. so i decided against it, i still may switch over when i renew my script next summer, hopefully that waiting list shit will be figured out.

So I went I the website and read the policies blah blah.. Well they ship across United States and Canada. Now I live in a non legal state and I saw a thing where says "click here if you don't have a prescription" blah blah now will they send? If so discretely?? I believe that LP's put out that type of info for those that have no clue what strains are good for this and that.
I get what they are trying to do, cause all I need to know is would it be good for pain or blah blah..... now wether that actually works for ya maybe it's a good starting point for a newbie.
Anyways BM never had a label stating it's good for this or that... all ya needed to know... is it good?
Some BM in the past has been hit or miss but the other side of that is got ya stoned but never helped with yer condition.

So as long as people don't think that's all the strain does for ya......

The point I was making is that there is no such thing as irradiated cannabis in the US. MAYBE at U of Miss. Dispensaries have their products lab tested which would show pesticide residuals but also any hard metals, molds, fungi. Thereby eliminating the need for irradiation What's the dispensary you were talking about using sprays?

I appreciate that, but the PowerPoint comes from AAPCO and it was minutes from a meeting, not some venture capitalist presentation. I sit through presentations every week and you would be surprised how many look like that, coming from Presidents and managers of companies.

I still can't talk about naming a dispensary. Way too many NDAs in place.

they have always had product, just not always what i want. and i don't always have 300$ to drop on meds and they usually run out of the 5 and 10 gram sizes. so if i had 10 grams left on my monthly limit, they may only have 25g sizes available. they keep trying to tell people that they need to package everything into segments as soon as its dried and cured. i think thats bs.. but anyways..sometimes its good and others its not.

Hard to say without knowing more about their operation, but it might be a QA loophole thing.
QA person has to be on-hand to measure and package and product, so they may have a part-time QA person that they pay as seldom as possible.

that's bullshit if you have 10g's left for your monthly you should be able to get that amount if they have it.... if they have to break down a bigger jar so be it...... that's LP droppable shit that crap is!!!!!

Yes. There are 3 major hurdles in my opinion:

1. Convincing people it's acceptable to add something to the plants that is traceable in the product
2. Getting the hardware into the right hands
3. Attempting to control the "traceable" magic so that the BM can't add to their own plants

Because of this, I'm starting to think it may be easier for them to setup a procedure that requires that all X be zapped out of the plant so that they can ensure that any plants that came from the MMPR would be devoid of X when tested.

I don't do biology or chemistry enough to know how feasible it is, but I know the RCMP wants something.

Yes. If the federal government, Health Canada, provincial governments and medical professionals could all agree.
In the meantime, it's just a game trying to balance between them all and their individual regulations, etc.

this is from the organigram website... so their first shipment is only 13%. nothing special...typical LP THC percentages..actually a little on the lower side if you're comparing to tilray or some of canna farms stuff... they at least have 15's, 18's and pink kush at 20%
