Are you ready for some football?

Ah, September... Time for the manly sport of football. Yes, American football. Beer, brats, and bags of drugs. Soccer may be the sport of the world and a religion to some (WTF) but our football commercials are more interesting than a world cup game to me.

So, do you care?

Ah, fuck. That was supposed to be a very elaborate poll. I totally screwed the pooch there. So much for being clever.

Football (real football, where people use ONLY feet) is dull, but I quite like your armoured body slamming sport. Sadly not televised over here. I'd watch it over america had talent any day!

I am starting to get the feeling that American football is doomed. Something about it being extremely dangerous to one's health. I am glad the rest of the world enjoys soccer but I cannot watch it. Never will be.

I'm not that bothered about football or soccer but I love it when Barca plays, it's electric out here. Fireworks, bar brimming of people etc. Think FCB are still one of the best teams in the World.

Always respected Germany as a World class team and was very happy when they won the cup.

I like both football and soccer. Grew up playing soccer but football is a sport built for the fans. I love watching soccer because it's 90 minutes of continuous action, not a bunch of flags and whistles and bullshit.
Football is organized very smartly though- having games every Sunday is brilliant. The tactics and strategy are also way way more advanced than soccer. In soccer all the players fundamentally have the same skill set. It's extremely difficult, yes, but it's a simple game. In football, you have dramatically different jobs on the field, all used like an army in battle to help achieve a final task. Also, although it is barbaric and the players are often fat slobs, watching someone get completely flattened is fantastic. Too bad Eli looks like horseshit this year.
