I'm killing the games myself. You like horses too? I love horse racing. Gonna buy me a thoroughbred one day so I can race and build me a stable. Don't see too many women who's into it.
Up north I had my assistant trainers license in Maryland...I've been an equestrian since before I could walk :)

That's awesome MD. I used to live in Maryland for about 7 years. Just moved away from Frederick 2 years ago. Used to go to Pimlico, Laurel, Rosecroft and Charles Town. Now that I stay in North Carolina I don't get to go anymore as NC doesn't have horse racing.

You talking about your face and I bet your pretty ;) I think I'm starting to like you MD. You like everything I like!!!

Yes way! I was on the equestrian back up for the olympics when I was in college but I knocked out my knee and there went that.
I had a hanoverian/thoroughbred cross that was my best friend. I grew up raising saddlebreds and doing saddleseat but that just wasn't my thing.
I went the dressage route like my sister but ended up in hunt seat.
Would love to get back into riding but no time, no space.. and yea no time.
I miss horses, they have been such a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mom went into labor on a horse
Had a morgan as my first horse at 4. I love love love them.. Mucking out stalls at 4am before going to school was just something we did. LOL.

Frederick?? I grew up in Montgomery county. Trained off the farm in Woodbine...you know where that is...
I used to race at pimlico and laurel park!! Edgar prado was a very good friend of mine!! I'd also go to Charlestown just to get easy checks. I used to run my horses out of conditions down there. The track vet used to tease me and tell me I had to go to the test barn of I just stepped foot in the receiving barn!! Good times!!!

Really what a coinkidink lol, small world it is. I know exactly where that farm is. I used to see it all the time when my dad used to go to Woodbine to get his medication. I always wondered if somebody trained horses over there.

That's amazing that you used to race horses there. I know Prado personally myself. I used to be on the circuit when I was a teenager hard with my dad. We used to shine shoes at Keeneland and Churchill Downs so that let's you know I know a lot of people. I've got a picture with Prado on Derby Day in 03 somewhere around my house. Got pix with a lot of people. I would prolly be a trainer or agent if I stayed on the circuit but I moved back with my mom. Damn what a small world!!!!

Very cool!!!! Yea I think he's down at Gulfstream riding. Since they run just about all year now I think that's where he's gonna be except for the big days when he will be in New York or Kentucky.

I should look him up and say hello :) It's been a long time...
You should most def. I'm sure he would be happy to hear from you. All this talk about racing has me wanting to go to the track now. Gosh darn NC government, they need to approve pari-mutuel wagering so I don't have to ride 3 hours to Virginia just to watch and bet on races. I can watch them on TVG but I cant make an account cus betting not legal. Its really got me thinking about moving fareal cus horses are part of my life

Hey MD since your in Fl, have you tried to get any elite cuts? I know there's some top genetics around there, Been thinking about coming down there since my Mrs has family in Tampa and trying to get some cuts.

And I'm not talking about trading so Mods don't ban me
