are you growing an auto and a photo in the same growroom ? i can't understand from your post , and also you said you will veg for 5 weeks and flower for 8 .. you can handle the time of veg but flower its your plant that will tell you when shes ready . you can't impose a timeline.

Well , thats what i was trying to tell you , you can't determine that max flowering , you have to watch the trichs and your plants will tell you when she's ready to harvest , dont start looking at calendars .. that will just give you headaches .. trust me i know lol :P ...
Get a loupe . and when she starts trowing a few amber trich's follow her until you have the max rating of cloudy to amber and clear .. i allways try to go at 10 / 15 % Amber .. arround 80% Cloudy .. and arround 10% clear cause you will never have perfect scnario of 0% clear.. .. this is not an exact science off course.

About spliting your plants , dont you think thats too much trouble ? and probably too much costs?
If your goal is just indoor , forget about the autos. go photos , you will be happier with it ..

With 8 CFL's x 26W you can't do too much to your plant dont let it veg for too much cause you will not have enought light for a big plant , and you will end up with a large unhealthy low quality plant.
Try to keep it short and top it once(the photo not the auto of course.) maybe and do some lst so your colas are all as close to the bulbs .
Just dont let it grow too big or you will not have enought light for a big plant for shure.

yes shure you can supercrop your liberty, as you please its up to you .. i cannot tell you the days to veg .. its not the same for everyone , plants grow at a diferent rate due to strain , light , nuts, temps.. .. etc etc etc ..
You have to consider that when you make the switch your plant will start the stretch that can go up t 3x its height ..
Since you dont have too much light i sugest you try to get you night temps higher for the first 3 weeks after the switch to 12/12 , if possible almost matching your day temps , for example if you have day temps of 80 , you try to get your night temps at 76, 77 , 78 ... you just need to do this for the first 3 weeks after the switch . then you can and should go back to your night temps as long as they keep in the correct "window".
By doing this your plants will have less distance between nodes and will produce bigger colas instead of popcorn .. it will also help you with light management , because your plants will be smaller but robust (this is what your are looking for indoor grows), instead of stretchy with spaguetti stalks.
Stronger Stalks can produce biggers buds. and give you bigger yields.

PS: Allways keep your lights as close as possible to the plants when it comes to cfl..
just dont burn them off course.

I have grown Liberty Haze many times, she will grow very tall. I usually just top them twice and veg for 3-4 weeks under 600 watt MH and they will grow close to 5 feet tall within 3-4 weeks after switching to 12/12.

For small plants lst and supercrop don't top unless u end up with space restrictions try to train well so lollipop ping isn't necessary also trim fan leaf tips for better light penetration
Here's my current girl
I started by bendin the entire stock early with the weight of a pen then tied a computer mouse to the bucket and dangled it off the other side
Once the plant reached the side I widdled holes and grew in a spiral and tied all branches down with pipe cleaners
After the initial flowering stretch when vertical growth stopped I took away the pipe cleaners and I have been super cropping since late veg
Plant is 37 days into flower
Dinafem blue hash 8 week flower time
Did this with berry ryder auto last grow got two zips dry in 69 days from seed and plant was half this size
