I would love a place to hang out and vape and talk with other patients. It would be a nice change from typing on a keyboard. There aren't any places locally...I think Victoria has a few, but that's a 2 1/2 hour drive. Who wants to move to Van. Isle and get one going?lol

I'd like to open a vapour lounge locally. Trouble is I don't see where to make money at it.
People bring their own bud. So snacks and a small entrance fee may be the best revenue. I just don't see how it would pay for itself or even make a little money. The vape lounge I went to was alcohol free which was good.
Maybe if we had cafe's like Amsterdam that could sell some bud to help keep the doors open.

There's a lot of issues for sure and how to be profitable is probably the biggest issue.
Are you being sincere my friend?

Without a business plan or model, I'm only so serious. In this town the cops would be all over it...like the flies to shit deal.
I'm pretty good at small business but don't see the profitability in it.
I guess it would need to offer more...but what Leaf? Pipes and accessories maybe. The cops around here would figure it's just a party place and bust it I bet. I don't live ina big enough city. KW area is old school

I'm just down the road from you in an even more conservative city, London.
KW and C has the population density required.
Head shop items will attract negative attention, but say all medical vaporizers might be one revenue source. Like with the LCS, you have to start with having the "blessing" or tolerance of the local politicians and police. I've been thinking about this concept for awhile now.

The times I went to Vape Central in Toronto it was mostly young folks in their early 20's. Didn't look too medical ! I'm okay with that but the po-po ...not so much.
I live in a town with 2 universities...they like to keep it clean around here. They even told the local head shops to stop selling seeds. It's still run by Nazi's around here

Oh for sure it's different from Toronto, no doubt. It's very conservative here as well. It begins with knowing what will be and won't be tolerated.
My daughter is looking at engineering at Waterloo next year.

Well it's a great town for learning and she will be pretty safe here....except for lightning...so so sad for that poor girl who was killed here last week.
I think we a re a few years away around here from getting a lounge I'd say.
Why, wanna come run it with me leaf ?

I envy all the cities with vape lounges.Seem like a good place to chill with like minded folks. I know some people here are looking into opening one and if there is enough of a market. Lots of legal questions that need to be answered in order to operate one too, so it's a game of lawyers and ass covering before it's even viable. Sadly I think it won't be until legalization that we see any here.

True that hippy. I live in small town wintertoba 3 hours in any direction from a major city. I would love to hang out a vap lounge or coffee shop like in Amsterdam. Hey idea my small town has 3500 people 2 bars and a liquor store. Almost everyone tokes here so when cannabis is legal that would be a killer business. :bigjoint: Sorry if this makes no sense I think I over medicated lol
