photoperiod -- responds to changes in how much light or dark it gets .
e.g....cannabis is an autumn flowering plant it knows this by the longer nights and shorter days of autumn.. Indoor growers have total control of these light times.....hope it makes sense

  1. Alright thanks I get that but still a little confused my plants been alive for over 4 weeks its been on 12/12 for 3 days should I see sex soon or will it be a couple weeks my pic is my plant I just dont wanna waste alot more time on it if its a dude

If indica dominant it takes 5 to 7 days to show hairs or dick n balls. Sativa's 2 to 3 weeks. All good bud is made with good nutes. Go organic. Take your cfl crap and toss it. You can get 150 watt hps complete light with internal ballast and bulb. More useable light for the plant then 700 watts of cfl. And penetrates deeper. Much deeper. Or get a 250 or 400. Your already using 168 watts on those cfl. I've done the side by side tests. Cfl and led alone are crap and a waste of electricity.
