It's finally over! First grows complete!

Yep, congrats and cure it out, don't go blazing the whole 3 zips before next weekend.
First time grower here. What does cure out mean? My plant has about 2 more weeks left and I want to make sure I do harvesting correctly. I was told to flush with straight tap water before harvest. Not sure how long to let her sit in the water before chopping. What best method should I use?

First off, why are you flushing? Do you have salt buildups?

Cure it out means, after properly drying your bud, that you need to cure your bud properly, resulting in a smooth clean smoke. Tons of articles here on properly drying and curing.

Was that a cacti in a jar?

*edit*

I realize now that it might just be flowers. At first glance it looked like some cacti :P sorry if I was mistaken!

Ok so after they dry is the curing process. Thanks will look up.
Flushing the plants to make sure there is no fertilizer in the finished product. That's what I read... Before you harvest make sure you flush your plants with water a few times to get rid of any fertizilers. Is this not true?

Read up on it. That question will only turn this thread into a fight. Like green said, unless you have build up no need to flush pre harvest
