I'm not sure how you get can proper test results from the light while getting crossover from the A51 and indagros. This light to me looks like a step backwards from what's already available from top companies. Just another alibaba light with inferior diodes and possibly assembled in the states. Really though its a good warranty that attracts me to a51 as my commercial panel of choice, all panels no matter what they cost or what chips/drivers are inside can have problems (diodes burn out, drivers/ fans die). Recently one of my A51 panels has 1 of the white diodes burn out taking out the hole string, after some troubleshooting with Jeff he sent me a new 6 diode MCPCB (free fast shipping to Canada) and I easily installed it myself and was back in business.

I documented the repair and will be making a thread to show people incase they come across the same problem.

I'll admit though that I was put off by this light before I really heard much about it or even saw it because of the other guy on this forum that has be recommending them to people before they have been tested out. He did the same thing with the test light from BML before ultimately realizing it wasn't as good as he thought. I hope no one bought any based his recommendations.

its not an exact test. I wish I could speak on these diodes but I can't. They are better than any ali baba light or cidly or evergrow.This company has the same warranty as a51 except 3 year full coverage. A51 has 2 year. They both have the 50/50 coverage for life.

after a couple days under that light. The leaves are praying more so than the ones under the a51. I will run this panel over sour tsunamis in a closet alone soon too. Those seeds just sprouted. They're the last of them. I seem to get more females under the ig. All.the seeds I've sprouted under a51. 3/4 of them were male. I'm sure its just coincidence. The a51 is more red heavy. The ig is more balance (higher cri). I want to make sure the sour tsunami's are female first before moving them under the Ss.

The red could definitely be adding to the male count, I have read and believe that more blue produces more females. I sprouted a few under the a51 rw spectrum but I was only running the xte whites (5500k?) and it spat out more females.I didn't introduce the reds until the showed sex. I also went 3 for 3 with the party cups under the cxa 3000k spectrum though one did show some signs that she might be hiding a pair of balls under her skirt, she was destroyed. I would love one of those IG's for veg. Who knows maybe my already yellow/purpling tiny party cup will magically double in size and win me one. Im not counting on it though and might just be stuck with really efficient high bins leds, damn....

I added the pontoon to the veg ig. It sped up the growth rate by almost double. It's the ultimate veg light for sure and does well in flower too. You can cover such a bigger area in veg though 5x6 at most.

The pontoon during veg? Interesting. I would think it would just increase the stretch, Isn't it just 700mn+ red?

no it is 660 with 5 mins of 720-730 (cant remember exact wavelength) at lights out . I would think it would increase the stretch though as stated since when I turn the 660 on in the one panel that has it the plants under that light start shooting up in internode legnth

what natro said. 660 leds. Then 730's that run for 5 min at lights out. The 730 run off a battery that charges while lights are on. It has a 5 min charge. The 730's slowly dim off over 5 min. There is slightly more stretch. There is more node and foliage growth as well

Built in automation, Cool. Thats not a bad idea I'm going to look into that, I'm building a initiator (some day) and only need like 2 watts in the tent for the 5 or so minutes. I guess you would need a relay to trigger it when the other lights go off but how to charge the battery during lights on. Now I have some more reading to do.

I've jar'd everything up except one plant. So far yield is disappointing. I was hoping for a qper per plant minimum. I didn't even break the 3 zip barrier. Quality on the other hand. There was a lot of larf not counted too. I probably got a little over a pound of trim and larf. The indica quantum and one plushberry pulled 2 zips each. Everything else pulled around 3 zips each.

now I had a slight pest problem come and go. Only on a few plants that never jumped ship.
lots of bud flop that wasn't properly staked (too short of stakes). My RH has been very low 10%-20% I don't know if that has a factor in yield. This past year is the first time in my life I've had to deal with a dry climate.

Also I was planning on scrogging and removed 3/4 of growth. This next round I barely removed anything except for 2 plants. So we'll see.

This reminds me of back 2003, as the quality improved the yield got smaller with those strains. I also have many more phenos and strains in the works that I've yet to flower. So once I find the right phenos and what not. Everything will be dialed in better.

I will say the sativa quantum passed up 9lb in the frost category. It is literally the stickiest and frostiest buds I have ever seen. I got finger hash from just putting dry buds in the jars.

I'll post some bud pron as soon as the mojos gets jar'd up.

I know what that's like, I lived in the high desert for a couple years (Apple Valley). Hang in there, starting Tuesday the rest of the week gets a lot cooler. Although I keep reading theyre predicting another dry winter.

I feel ya man. It's been in the 100*'s and 20%-35% RH. I jarred all my buds up just in time for the heat wave...but won't bring them out to trim until the RH goes back up. 6 hour of trimming could turn them to dust in these conditions.

good choice on the oats- saphrophytic fungi love oats!

it is my preferred food source for petri dishes when growing mushrooms
because a lot of different mushroom species love it. some species are
picky about food sources but they all seem to like oats. organic blue and
yellow corn flour are also worthy of consideration, because corn has a
much higher concentration of growth hormones than oats.

there is actually a recipe for mushroom substrate called "hippie3's super
cake" that is selected for growth hormones and micro nutrients, IME all
of these ingredients make excellent additives for soil building and teas.
