Subb'd and + rep

I've seen this in threads. Newb here. Is this right? "Subb'd" is when you are now on board and watching a thread? And "+rep" means that you referred a friend to a specific thread?

Yes sub'd means you're watching a thread...and + rep used to be a button so you could give a member reputation points for being right about a prob or question...peace
