If you don't mind I'd like to chime in on your first grow. A bit off subject but hopefully Informative
My first grow was a huge success, I was considering on starting in soil but the nature of my personality wanted to go big the first time. My first grow was hydroponics.
I started out doing deep water culture . But as I didn't have any good way of controlling the reservoir temperature I started to get root rot. So I did some research. And found out that aeroponics was near foolproof in this approach as root rot is caused by lack of oxygen to the roots. Or more specifically, a lack of oxygen in the reservoir as water doesn't hold oxygen very well at higher temperatures. In aeroponics, the roots are suspended in air which is more effective way to delivering oxygen to the roots. Ergo more oxygen to the roots larger your root system and there for larger plant.
So please feel free to check out my video, I demonstrate how large my one plant got in an aeroponic system. And mind you this is my first grow.
Got nearly 6Oz from that plant
The reason I'm posting this and maybe a bit off subject is to illustrate that hydroponics can be quite forgiving and simple . And they can be done in a very small space . If you have 8 feet or more height in your room You should be able to accomplish this.
In hydroponics there's a saying ~When in doubt dump it out. This is referring to the reservoir. As the trouble people get in when trying to get to hydroponics is that they're always trying to adjust there water Diagnose there plant problems and that's where the problems in getting into hydroponics come from.
I'm starting a closet grow myself . I plan on doing SOG with aeroponics period as this is the best for small areas. At least in my opinion . So give it some thought and I'll show you might grow as it goes along but I'm going to start a grow journal in the grow journal area
P.S. Your plant is looking fabulous!
