The New Jersey "Ebola nurse" has been placed in an unnecessarily inhumane quarantine condition, and what reassurance does the Maine worker have that sh won't be pitched into a tent outside (in Maine in November) with paper clothes?
If I were maine Nurse I'd be reading that writing on the wall and kicking over some shit buckets too.
She's being monitored daily, so I don't see the Typhoid Mary comparison to be any good.

I am just saying that if you hve exposed yourself to an ebola patient you should be quarantined for the 21 days. Not fighting for you rights to infect other people. That doctor in NY proved that they can not be trusted to isolate themselves.

Either you have never been to Africa and you haven't come in contact with anyone who may possibly have come into contact with Ebola.... Or you have.

I was a kid in the 50's and folks were quarantined for polio, scarlet fever, whooping cough, etc. They didn't whine about it. Its not a big god damned deal...it would be far better now days with DVD's, and electronic entertainment and stuff. Fuck her and fuck that liar doctor.
You're a pretty pathetic human being when you'd willingly put thousands, if not millions, of your fellow citizens at risk of deadly infectious disease simply because you aren't willing to spend 3 weeks chilling in quarantine at your house, the hospital / wherever.

If they really wanted to do something useful they'd implement a quarantine prior to letting travelers from those countries board the planes. Stop them outside the states before they get here. It's the classic closing of the barn doors after the animals have left. It's all just a bunch of political nonsense driven by the stupid masses and politicians.
Reminds me of the NY mosque incident. All those “rule of law”/”law and order” types; big constitutional supporters; we got to see them for what they really were.

Exactly my point, for some it’s easy to shed their convictions and beliefs when the going gets tough. Hard to consider those folks Americans when they turn on something as fundamental as the constitution. Freedom isn’t easy and it ain’t cheap. In that situation, without conviction what are you as an individual? The term hypocrite comes to mind.
