Actually, when the likes of people like Bucky whine and cry to the moderators enough, they will put your account in slowdown mode, wherein when you log on it's slow to load ( even if it loads at all ) which they hope will eventually drive away anyone who doesn't share their communist/liberal views. It's fact, most people here know it.

There are at least three people involved in the process of bringing life into this world.
The father, required to create, with the woman, the new life.
The fetus/baby who is not yet a person. But they are a potential person and most of the time would become one without interference.
The woman, who bears the brunt of the duties in the process.
Currently, her wishes are the only one considered.

And that's exactly what is happening to me right now.
I've never broken any more rules than the majority of members here on the political forum break on a daily basis.
I used the F word replying to one of UncleBuks posts and got a message that I used "inappropriate language" and now my account is in slow down mode.
But for some reason it's alright for selected members.
You could always fall into line like a good Communist.

Are there grade schoolers on RIU somewhere I'm supposed to be setting an example for, or is this just an example of another hypocritical, butthurt liberal moderator using their mod status to target members with different views than their own?

What they are saying is true Doer. They target people for slowdown. I've been enjoying this since I offered Buck a bet at 10 to 1 that he wouldn't admit a truth.
Yes, I offered up to 10K for buck to tell the truth and he wouldn't take it. Next thing I know my account doesn't work well here anymore. If I log out, I can browse all I want.
He's a little snitch though, like a little jr high girl with the arms to match. It's aggravating, but not enough that I won't still call him a snitchbitch for being, well, a little snitchbitch.

Come on, this site does not practice individual slowdown. They would need a boat load of software they do not have,
So, they locked out your login, That is something very easy to do. A targeted slowdown is impossible for this many users, and no advertizing to support the big software spend, and there is no reason to do it.
They just shut you out. Read only.

It's true Doer, Sunni even admitted to it in jahbuddahs thread in the Support section.
Potroast seems to be the one doing it, I've 3 warnings (which I was never warned about) and apparently that's enough.
I know from a reliable source that UnkleSnitch has over 20 and his account is unrestricted.
It's clearly biased moderating, anyone that disagrees with the Snitch gets put on the throttled list.

But, for a software engineer for 30 years, like me, I don't see why they would bother with targeted slowdown. It is not necessary and not easy to accomplish. So, Occaum's razors, says they don't. But, if they do, Occum's Razor says, "What a bunch of passive aggressive, silly punks!"

Buck is a founding father of some kind.
When I first come one this board, 3 years ago, I came across Bucky, had some fun, and then got bored.
I tried to ignore him and could not. Rollie or someone said Buck had so jammed the software early on, when he was a Moderator, that they could not fix it.
So, after that Buck just became a squeak, in an otherwise, very comfortable shoe.
