5 NL autos- they looking ok?

Hey what's up guys.

I wanted to post a few pics since I don't know much about growing and see if these guys r on track or if the curling I see is actually curling.

Please give me any advice and opinions.
Started 10/27
Buddha grow 1/3 of recommended dose so far.
Have 400watt hps
300watt cfl. 2700 sidelight
150watt cfl side light
3 gallon bags
2x3x5.5 for tent.

bc my grow is brand new it doesnt get advice? umm. haha ok makes sense somehow i guess.

Dude they look fine to me. Just be careful not to nute burn them, its a lot easier to kill them when they are small.

I am using roots organic premixed and ready to go. in 3 gallon bags

I wouldnt feed them anything, they have a nice organic medley in the soil. Save your nutes for flowertime

o damn. ok. i wasnt sure when to start thats why i was using such a small amount. ill just continue with clean water for now until flower time then i will use the buddha bloom.

This is them almost two weeks in. Been 13days since they popped.

Although there is that minor curling on the big leaves, they look pretty good to me, but I don't know much.

Stopped the nutes fully for now and turned off my 400watt hps for 6 of the 20 hours to keep heat down during warmest part off the day.

I leave the 3 -300watt (68w) on during those hours tho. Been looking very green. Everyday they grow a pretty good amount.

Thinking of LSTing or SCROG???? Any one have opinions. They are auto flowers and cropking seeds said about 8 weeks for the northern lights auto but I'll prob wait 10.

is the plant going to get confused or have any harm by turning the HPS off for those hours and only having it run HPS and CFl together for 14 hours then CFL alone for 6 hours and then fully off for 4 hours?

i was running a 20/4 and now just dropped the HPS for a few extra hours. please let me know your thoughts. or i can clarify if that is confusing.

i will turn the HPS on fully in about a week when the temps drop and then itll be starting week 4.

Having major heat issues. Ordered a 450watt G8LED tonight going to switch out hps with that. Should I keep my cfls in there at the bottom as side lighting??

How big is your tent. I run LEDs as well. Have use CFLS for side lighting but you could wait until they are a bit taller before doing so. They look good for the most part. I currently have a few unknown strain autos. They don't like a lot of feeding. No cropping but LST is ok. I also ordered 5 seeds of NL from crop King. Havent start them yet tho.

My tent is a 2'x3'x5' and i have 5 plants going. originally with a 400watt hps and (3) 300watt CFL around the sides. adding the CFL definitely made them allot greener and more full.

i have the HPS off until my LED arrives tomorrow and i am just running the CFL today and tomorrow. i have tried JUST ABOUT everything i could with ventilation and there is no sense in adding more HV inline fans for more electricity. the LED will use less then the HPS and i can still leave the CFL's with the LED i believe.

i have two 4" HV in line fans 1 is ducting outside and one is intake from outside fresh air.
my intake tube insid ethe tent have a bug screen over the end and i have the air directed over top of the plants and it blows them around nicely along with the clip ons.

i have two clip on 6" fans

If your 400w HPS is putting off 50,000 lumens, your plants are already getting 10,000 per plant anyways (5 plants), given that your light is in the optimum range.

Do you really need those CFLs? And if you really want to use them, do you really need 400w up top?

I know we all want to give our plants the best light possible... but there is such a thing as too much. Especially if you are causing heat issues.
