bro dop your led way way way closer to those girls they will thank you for it
Right now I have it at about 23". How close should I put it, the website and package I got it in said for my model it should b 20-30"away. I have it attached to and adjustable ratchet strap so I can lower it down any distance...... Just want to make sure I'm getting the correct light spread to hit entire box.
Any input is appreciated.

Here's some pics of how they perked right up after a watering, New LED and 12 hours since I checked last.,

no problem bro just keep doing what you're doing and if i were you id put your 600 back in the tent and use your led for side lighting you'd be much happier with the results

Reason for removing my 400watt hps Is bc of heart issues. I couldn't get the heat where I wanted it and the plants were getting very sick.

So far so good with the new LED and cfls as side lighting. My next grow I'll be taking the tent down n using that entire closet it's in as a grow closet. I'll use a 600watt hps and two g8LED 450 watt as sIDE lighting.

Right now I max out with 5 or 6 plants in the tent, the closet will b able to do about 10 easily.

so are you able to vent outside the tent/closet to the room its connected to ? that would solve a lot of heat issue. i would mount the fan to the wall right above the closet door cut a hole out put one of the square vent things so the air can go right out the top of the closet to the next room it would take a lot of the hot air out the room for you

I am venting from the closet through the ceiling and in the attic, out one of the eves in my roof.

I am intaking cold fresh air from an eve on opposite sides,of,attic. (sometimes to cold so I disconnect to draw air from room closet is in., but outside closet)

Both 4" high velocity inline fans.

But very funny you say that, I was just telling my wife im putting a vent in above the closet door so,when it's to cold to pull fresh air from outside, I'd pull it from room Right outside closet. Right now doing that it's keeping my temps at 78 n humidity at 48-55%

What do you think the reason is that these leaves are yellow In spots?? Could Ur be from nute burn from a well ago. Haven't fed nutes since. Just fresh water

nute burn will show at the tips of your leaves it could be wind burn from the plants rubbing against one another i wouldnt worry about it honesly bro

Ok cool. Bc It seemed to have started with one plant and now a few have them.,I'll keep and eye on them. Tips aren't yellow just spots on leaves, I was thinking maybe from accidentally pouring the nutes onto leaves maybe they got burned Bc it sat on them until dry.

dude this is how you're gonna solve your problems put that 600 back in your tent use your led for side lighting or hang both lights up whichever you fancy depending on the space you have. the intake from the attic ( cold air ) let it come into the closet not the tent and keep venting hot air into the attic your tent will have a passive intake sucking the cooler air from the closet into the tent and that should keep your temps fairly stable try it out for one and let me know if that helps

that could be it too but i always get wind burn on my plants due to where my box fan is in my tent

They look better already. Not that they looked bad at all. I don't think you really have any worries at the moment.
Much better now compared to before. They reacted well to the new LED and the watering I have them.

Temps r so easy too keep them exactly where I want them now. I can always dial in 78 And maintain that.... But I want to get humidity like that, I'm 38-48 would like to be a steady 45-50%

hey guys. i wanted ask for some opinions... i have my (3) 300watt cfls (68watt actual draw each) total approx 200watts.
I also have my 450watt G8LED (actual draw approx 280watt) full spectrum veg/flower. i wanted to find out if there would be a whole lot of benefit for me to order a UFO all red LED to go along with the setup. I figured i had enough watts with the cfls in there as well, but i didnt no if i NEEDED that extra red light that bad or not for a good yield.

right now 480watts approx. total.

let me know and suggestions. if i needed to order it, id have to do it right away as i am starting to preflower a little bit.
