Silk Road 2.0 taken down

Looks like following sloppy security protocols from my early glances.

Don't use handles, email addresses, insecure Web connections or hire people you don't know to commit crimes. Seems easy enough. Stupid as shit that we as Americans continue this failed war on drugs policy. Why not allow these people to be licensed, offer Healthcare to cover issues associated with addiction and create safe market places for substances that people want? Surely it would be a more successful endeavour instead of locking mostly victimless crime perpetrators, wasting legal resources and harming the public only further.

Well hopefully the legalization of cannabis really picks up momentum and starts changing things. Its a tragedy situation.
One step at a time. It's sad the United states refuses to learn from other countries. All drugs should be regulated and legal. There will always be addicts but I'd prefer these people are treated like people not subhuman scum. Even if all drugs were legal it's not like I'd go cocaine. Focus on harm reduction and education as well as rehabilitation, not criminalization. Has prohibition stopped drug users now? Nope not at all

While I haven't used it, friends have. It's a great market place. Easier than dealing with dealers and shipped right to your door. Quality of the drugs was top notch as well. That's what's great about the Internet and technology. Borders are arbitrary and you can do business any where in the world.

If it wasn't such a hassle to get bitcoins and deal with drugs in the mail, I'd go through with it. Not really much out there I really want to get my hands on these days, drugs take time and I don't have much of it.

Hmm.. the feds seem to be doing a good job of motivating development of distributed drug distribution systems. There are several in the works now. By this time next year there will be one or more in full operation if not much sooner.

This leaves the feds the option of doing a better job of intercepting it in the mail or making examples out of end users.

SR2 was making $8 million per month.

I suspect the NSA was involved in this, not that we will hear about it. Parallel construction with lame ass excuses like last time.

Well domestic mail requires more work than Trans border, so that probably won't happen.

The parallel construction is fucked and has been happening for years.

so,what did everyone learn from THIS silkroad bust?
i said it before, and im just repeating john gotti.."the governments a machine..they dont run out of time or money.."
if youre smarter than them, theyll put someone thru as much school needed, just to get smarter..just to get you.
next quote is from samuel clemmons.."two men can keep a secret,if one of them is dead."
be safe guys!

i kinda feel like drug dealing has reached a pinnacle..they tried hard, but, you cant make a better mousetrap...finding a legit hookup who treats you right like the road forced them to isnt hard, honest people usually can find each other through knowledge and interests, and that turns into networking...
imo,s.r. was like buying shoes online..you knew what you were getting in a sense, but wether it fit you perfect was unknown...pretty pot there, but do you like the smell?
lots of pros, lots of cons, but i think the cons are much more..i bet the guys buying heroin and pills from there think the same thing right about now:-)
but hey,at least theres no murder for hire with this one...
