Dude post the video on here and on YouTube. I'm dying to see it.

Here's what I would do:

I'd have the dude over to smoke a joint and roll it up and be all laughing and talking to him about whatever.

Pick up a lighter and go to light it but instead put the lighter down and be like "oh dude, did you know I have cameras around my house?" And see what he says. Of course he's going to get all antsy and be like "oh.... That's cool, man" or something.

But this is when you get hard on him. You say "look man, I have a fucking video of this shit you dumb motherfucker. You've got two options:

1- you pay me back every fucking dime you took from me within the next 5 days

2- I beat the living fuck out of you AND you pay me back everything you owe me.

Then you continue with-

"You have 5 days you fucking weasel. I'm planning on dropping this video on your parents at 5pm on the 5th day, threatening to take it to the cops for breaking and entering, and also all our friends. I don't give a fuck what you think, your folks and our friends will beat the living fuck out of you and you'll be known as a thieving cunty bitch."

take the camera footage to the police and tell them you were robbed of your money, press charges on him lol say he took 5grand.

I don't know what to do. Because we are basically in the same crew. All my friends are friends with him, and all his friends are friends with me. Also, I live in a town with a small population of 2,000. There is only one group of my aged people who live here. My friends will still be friends with him if I tell them what happened. I don't want to be around him and he hangs out with my friends. I want to beat his ass every time I see him but, I see him at least 5 times every day.
So, like I can't change crews and make new friends because everyone aged 18-25 we chill with.
I don't want to hang out with a lot of 30 year olds. I just wouldn't fit in with them.
So that was my weekend -_-

Everyone needs to know, including him, what a low piece of shit that makes him.
Your friends deserve to know they need to lock shit up.
Your 'friend' who jacked you, isn't a friend, hes a user. And you got used.

He wasn't your friend to begin with.

Be an OG, invite him over to your pad and let him know you know something.

Smoke a blunt in front of him with the meanest poker face without saying a word. Don't pass it. Watch him buckle as you're coming to a close.

If he tries to get up ask him why he's in such a hurry to rush out, then ask him if he's forgetting something and tell him he left something last time he came over.

Give him two options. The missing item re-appears and he hightails it out with his neck in place or he reports himself to the authorities and gets a chance to meet bubba.

One of my old acquaintances got set up by one of his pals on some bulk amount of weed(not sure how much off the top of my head, but it was quite a few lbs, ten I think?) well, he went to jail and the cops made a huge scene busting his door down while he was having a get together to get him. the rat was in the house and it was obvious who did it(little fucker). So the guy who got in trouble has a brother(these are two crazy motherfuckin brothers, unfortunately they are both dead now.. Shame, great guys. But once you fuck with them, they WILL fuck you up. Funny though, they were complete teddy bears otherwise.). Well his brother found this motherfucker. And he slit his throat open. The rat ended up not dying(I don't know how, apparently it was pretty brutal).

Sunni is kinda right, violence is never the answer. However, I personally would beat his ass. And if I got jumped, oh well. I haven't been in a situation like this for about 5 years when some nig nog stole a QP from me. I didn't even have to hurt him, I have plenty of old friends if you know what I mean.
Not really anymore come to think about it. I got out of all that junkie, robbin, wigga shit once I stopped doing all the pills and powders.
Now everyones' all happy sunshine fractal cool ass motherfuckers

I know 100% where it was at. But, it was his car. He is also not talking to me any more. Like I would normally get a message from him every few days. three nights ago I was waiting for someone to get off work. He showed up and didnt say a damn word to me. He got out his car went into store came right back out and stood outside for 5 mins. He would always come talk to me and see whats up. that time he didn't say shit or even wave at me

When I was younger, I got robbed for money and drugs from a friend and di the macho thing and went to his house and confronted him. It ended with me hitting him only once and taking my money and stuff back. 2 weeks later I got arrested and thrown in jail for a home invasion. He even told the cops he took my shit and thats what I took back. I fought it in court and ended up with a felony still and a year in the county jail with 5 years probation. They offered me to press misd. charges on him for theft since he admitted it. That never happened because I'm not a snitch. Point is, any man thats going to steal from you, will just as easy call the cops on you for kicking his ass. It's not really worth it,IMO. My shit or what other people think wasn't worth 6 years of my life.

Be smart.

Confront him in front of your friends and call him a thief and a bitch. He may be a bitch and apologize, then he has lost respect of the others.

Worst case scenario he hits you. Then kick his ass.

Its a small town, stand up for your self. Win or lose you will have respect, for your self. That is the most important type of respect.

Only a ignorant person feels no fear.
Courage is doing something in spite of fear, not the lack of it.

Do not just ignore it.
Confront him.
Peaceful or not is your choice.


Personally, since you caught him on tape I think his hand should be cut off. Old testament style.
You do that, a thief can only steal twice.
