The first harvest from Tweed Farms has arrived

It's been "confirmed" that nothing from the MMAR would pass the new system.
The new system is overly stringent for sure, but that's because it's a prescription drug now.
All plants that get turned into drugs go through this process - you can't have Health Canada saying it's legal to sell medicine with bugs or mold or ? in it.
who what now? bongsmilie
not sure where you get yours but what I get is by far better than anything grown, or that will ever be grown, by any commercial LP in the MMPR system.

:bigjoint: hands down.

Where you been Mr? Nothing has changed. They just grow MORE shwag now is all.
Commercial shwag is not medication.
Simple shit really.

This isn't about what's "better", this is about what has less mites and mold.
Try finding MMAR stuff that passes the new standards - good luck.

just because you say so.

Yea.....

The patients I know don't smoke bugs. Never will. Mold?...unheard of!
No luck needed. :)

I appreciate that as much as the next guy, but try getting it tested.
I've been going through the process of helping MMAR grows get their product tested under the new regulations and it quickly becomes very obvious why Tweed et al irradiated the product they purchased from the MMAR.

Because they had to. Couldn't sell it otherwise. We know.

You may know, but gb123 likes to think the MMAR and his friendly, local gardener grow pure product without a single issue, mite, spore, pollen, seed, etc. Get that product in an MMPR-caliber lab and things change in a hurry.

But in reality except for special cases where users require really clean weed we get way more poison/dirt/spores from eating vegetables.

100% for sure. And our bacon is irradiated, etc. Certainly not disputing any of that.
Just disputing those that say it's the weed that's bad (yes, sometimes it is), not the standards that are too strict.

Compassion Club medicine failed miserably, but it's been trusted and used for decades with no issues.

Its all for liability reasons, if they allowed farmers to grow it outdoors no one would care and it would still be sprayed with some thing along the line. I don't think it needs to be "medical" grade, seems like a way to restrict entries into the system.

It's definitely 1 part liability, but much of it simply boils down to classification of the drug - it's class 1 (can't remember the official name), which means it has to be handled in the same manner as other plants of it's type or synthetic drugs like Morphine.

You're living in a dream world my friend. :)
Truth is. You have no idea what goes on. You sure spew a lot but in reality. You're just looking for answers.

cheers oddish. Keep thinking commercial shwag is that much better than what a personal grower can produce for themselves, if need be.

My fuck I wish you could read.

Ahh the irradiation talk again. Maybe Hellth Canaduh should fund some studies on the effects of irradiating cannabis. You know instead of wasting tax payer dollars on bullshit commercials full of lies, oh won't somebody think of the children!

There's quite a few studies that show that unfiltered cigarettes result in radionuclides being deposited in the lungs.
Can't be good for anyone. I imagine irradiated marijuana could have similar effects.

Did I literally not just say that lol....

Oddish didn't say that personal grower's don't grow top shelf meds.

The point is that you will always have some level of undesirables.. Always.. It's a plant.

You can't always see contaminants even with a microscope.

A majority of MMAR weed wouldn't pass. Not because it sucks.. But because of how strict the regs are.

It's in no reference to the potency or effectiveness of the medicine.

HC is just trying to cover their asses.
