So got my Golden Teacher spores in the mail today and as a free gift they gave me a baggy of Papaver Somniferum (Opium Poppy) seeds. Anyone tried to grow these before. I'll do some research shortly, but figured I'd ask here for any tips.... Also how many plants do I need to be able to get some product of some sort? I suppose I can grow these indoors with all my other stuff. It's going to be busy winter. Sporebank is where I ordered btw. Thanks all.

And... You need a lot, and, i have found that the ornamentals have a higher percent of codiene than those bred specifically for o.

First crop is for seeds. They are a bitch to grow when you can't broadcast seed.

They are legal to grow until you start scoring pods.

YMMV. Last batch I ever did made me puke for hours and grow tits.

Technicaly the whole plant with the exception of clean seeds is Schedule II , Tolerated and legal are very different
