Raise eyebrows with whom and where is a better question. If your in the US dealing with the power company that usage would easily blend in even with a 600w+. If your in another country or dealing with landlord or roommates that have access to see your bill, that may be a different story.
 
My rate in Ontario, Canada is $0.073, but then there's all the bull-shit added, delivery charges and whatever so it typically falls more in the $0.13-14 range all-in. Not terrible compared to others (Europeans pay through the nose!). Costs me an average of $120/month to run the following, with this config I'm producing ~ 1 lb./month perpetually:
20/4 125W LED for seedlings/clones
18/6 240W LED for vegging
12/12 270W LED for small flowering/breeding projects
12/12 900W total CMH/LED/Fans etc for my flower room
