Critical Mass vs. WWxBB

I'm looking at seeds for my next grow, and I want a strain with a HUGE yield that will take well to SOG, but I also want some pretty potent buds with a nice Indica or hybrid stone. Also, shorter flowering is better, but that usually comes with being an indica.

I've noticed both of the following strains:
Mr Nice Seeds Critical Mass(click)
Female Seeds White Widow x Big Bud(click)

Which one of those would you pick, or do you have another suggestion?

I've ran the ww x bb. You'll have to pheno hunt for the structure for SOG. A lot of the phenos we had were lanky as hell. I've ran Critical Hog(critical mass X the Hog) (can't remember what company) huge yields, but quality wasn't there. In general, you can find a pheno that will work for a SOG in most plants, just stay away from sativa dominant, unless your gonna hunt for the indica counterpart.

So what strains should I start the hunt with though? Like if I want potency and yield, what strain should I grow out and pick a mother from? And I've never actually done SOG before so what characteristics should I look for in a mother?

Attitude says that blue dream is a "tall" strain. How tall are they talking?

How tight is tight on the node spacing? And when should I watch for powdery mildew? Like when is it most likely to strike?

My blue dream goes into flower at 6 inches and ends at 24 to 30. Shouldn't have any problems IMO. But I also hunted from 12 different phenos for my keeper. Powdery mildew can happen at any time. The spores are everywhere outside, be sterile and shower before u go into your garden if you have been working outside. Most importantly, keeps ur humidity below 50 in flower and 60 in veg.

Pretty much. U can save yourself some time and take some clones off each plant. And then flower the ones you started from seed. Label your clones 1-10. And wait for results. Keep the one you like best or works for your setup best (Unfortanetly, sometimes those don't go hand in hand)

Hey, is Attitude reliable for shipping to the US again? I know last year they had some major problems with seizures. Is that all over now?

To be honest I do not know. If you already have something setup at your house. Ask someone to ship them to their house. Most of those seizure were just seizures from my understanding. No one arrested, just got a nice sketchy letter in the mail from us customs saying we took your shit.

Dude, that sketchy letter is enough to make me shit myself... I'll see if I've got anyone to ship to for me. And I'm looking around now to see if there's any other good seedbanks carrying that strain.

True, true. I guess I'll kiss some ass and find someone who will let me order some socks from the UK to their house, LOL. The only real downside to that is using my own name. Then again, I can use my fake name and just say they messed up the name on the label when the package arrives.

Don't use your real name. Ask you buddy to look up public records on his house and order it in the name of the last person that lived there before him. If it gets taken no one has liability. Also order with a prepaid credit card from store.

I meant one of the cards u put money on. You can put a exact amount on those. But if u got a prepaid, you would just spend the rest of the money on it somewhere else.

Oh, gotcha. If I had to spend the money I'd be so paranoid that like somehow they'd check security cameras at the store I spent the money at lol. I'm probably overly paranoid. Anyways, I'll definitely look into all of the things you've suggested. Thanks man!
