am i understanding this right that you intend to leave plants to veg in an ez cloner for 2 months? I must be high right?
Nope... you space each clone out to every other site so when my 120 site it full its only going to be holding 60 clones in each unit.

I have already my machine full for 6 weeks, and there bustin out crazy roots. Add a airstone to the tank, and when the roots hit the water they explode!

Then at around 2+ months, I drop them straight in the hydro and flower.

one thing you might want to consider is if the roots become "very" aeroponic style and are accustomed to the mist and cloner conditions thus becoming very long, when you pull them out and transplant into the hydroton they might get pretty shocked

idk just a thought

Thank you, jimmy. And, comercial in the apt grow thread, you talk about this being a business to you. Right on... a good business plan will get you more free weed than you can stand to smoke, plenty to give your friends and a fat wallet to boot.

i was just wondering about how much you usually yield dry wieght off each plant and how many plants per light you usually use, also with how mnuch veg time???
im planing on going with 6 plants per 1000w and 2 months veg time. ill be going with soil though and from what i gather hydro produces a higher yield in the same amount of time.
ive never done hydro before but after reading your threads and aspiring to be to the level that your at, i may soon be switching over. later dude.

So commercial maybe you can answer this question for me. Instead of having a mother plant. Could I (from seed) grow plants, veg for a month, lollipop them, then put the clippings into an ez-cloner for 2 months? Then repeat the process over and over? I guess my question is your clones are surviving well in your cloner for that amount of time?

I fully admit i may be behind here, but can i please see the plants vegging in the easycloner as you describe. I would really like to see how it's working.

Yeah, the plants will outgrow the EZ Cloner in a month, so a veg area with the plants growing into their flowering system would be best. IOW, the plants will do better if they are vegged, and then switched to flowering without being moved to a different system.

To answer murtymaker, some growers don't keep mother plants. They just take cuttings from their vegging plants, and use those for the next crop. That way, you don't need a veg area for mothers.

The only thing i seen wrong with your plan, is your veg time.... 2 months isnt needed. I veg for only 3 weeks at most, others for about a month. This is only my opinion, you can run your system however you want. But 2 months of veg equals 6 - 7 foot plant after flower in my case.

I like to keep my plants short, around 2 1/2 feet to 3 feet tall when finished. This helps with density at the lower branches. It keeps those fluffy leafy buds thicker and heavier.

So if you veg for 3 weeks, how long do you flower till harvest?

my overall harvest time varies from 60 -72 days usually. I have 3 strains and my juicy fruit is ready in around 65 days, the other 2 are are around 62 - 72 days.

In my experience the amount of time you veg doesnt effect your flowering time. I havent done SOG, waiting for the next cycle, but I will find out if flowering from clone will take longer to pistil. Usually it takes up to 2 weeks for your pistils to appear when flowering.

Re-reading this post, I just want to inform that I start from clone and use hydro, incase you guys are talking about starting from seed and vegging for 2 months. Just started to rethink what you guys were talking about. I forget there is alot of people crackin seeds on this site.
If so id say 2 months is probly fine, im guessing it would be a foot or so? almost sog style, except you will have to determine the sex during your flower.
