Should I order this?

I've tried every loupe and hand-held microscope out there. They all ended up causing me to harvest TOO LATE. By the time my older eyes could see amber trichomes through those cheap devices, there was way too much amber actually there. I proved that to myself when I used a USB microscope to take pictures that I could view on my PC. I then could see lots of amber - more than is acceptable for a MJ harvest (IMHO).

I threw all those loupes and hand-held microscopes away, and now exclusively use a USB microscope to take very-magnified trichome pics.

Edited to add this: My eyes are not very good. You may be able to use a loupe just fine.

I own that exact same loupe.

Has dual white/blue LEDs on the bottom for direct light under each lens.

If you use it, just make sure you check the trichs in a natural light and away from your tent and preferably not with the LEDs... it'll throw you off when you look at them.

It does come in a nice little plastic carry case with 2 spare batteries though.

Odd, I think mine was 4.97 when I bought it online a few years ago.

8 weeks is on the 19th, hopefully it gets here on the quicker side, i want to see the whole transformation of the triches. Clear/cloudy/start of amber. I don't want to just see the tail end.

I have a hard time with them too. Not that my eyes are really bad... but they are older and I wear glasses and trying to look through one of these tiny devices gives one a damn headache. The usb one sounds pretty good and neat to me too.

Mine works very well. And my nice big PC screen shows the trichomes in such vivid detail.
