My temp is 87f my rh is only 20 from what I understand that's not a very optimum environment for my babies any suggestions on raising that rh. Was told electronic systems can increase risk of mold ect. Put a bowl of water in front of the fan I'll see if that does anything by tomorrow in the mean time I'm open to some knowledge if anyone would like to share

you should worry about bringing your temps down before worrying about your RH. Get your temps below 80 and that will also help increase your rh a little.

probably to increase surface area which increases evaporation. That or to keep flies/mosquitos what not from laying eggs. no idea

Dude, you have the perfect situation for a "Swamp Cooler"! Kill two birds with one stone - it will lower your temperature and raise you RH.

You can buy a small one, brand new, for $50. - $70. , or you can DIY one for a few bucks worth of ready made parts and some ingenuity.

I agree with the "get the temp down" posts. You are correct to try to get the RH up during your veg stage. The swamp cooler is a good suggestion. You want to be careful and not get carried away with bringing up humity too much. Then you have to worry about mold.
