been doing a lot of planning on starting a perpetual grow using 2 tents. Wanted to run my finding by some people who actually have experience. I have 2 people i can get clones from so that wont be an issue i'm more focused on getting the set up correct.
i plan on doing this in one room of the house or possible a basement. not worried about stealth as this will be legal but i do want it to be done neat and clean.
Veg Room: 12 plants
Tent = 48"48"78" grow tent
Lighting = 8 - 4 foot T5 bulbs - See Bulb fixture here
Ventilation = 220 cfm inline fan - 4" ducting - carbon filter - passive intake
Flower Room: 12 plants
Tent = 96"48"78"
Lighting = two 1000 watt HPS with vented hoods
Ventilation = 440 cfm inline fan - 6" ducting - carbon filter - passive intake - sucking the heat out of the light hoods
thinking i can set up the timing where i can push 6 plants through at a time so when i take 6 out of flower to harvest 6 more are ready to be moved into the flower tent and 6 more into veg tent.
i will be venting out of the tents into the same room the tents will be in, the door to the room can be left open if need be or closed with an AC unit if opening the door isn't enough. in the winter months i can probably even vent into the hallway to warm the house XD free heat well not free but you know what mean.
the law allows me 12 and 12 hence the set up.
nothing has been purchased yet im still in the planning stage so let me know what yall think advice, opinions, just feel like telling me im a dumbass lol anything is acceptable, trying to work out as many kinks as possible during the planning process.
how are my tent sizes? remember in the tents will be 6 big and 6 small not 12 full size plants at once as ill be pushing 6 through the rooms at a time.
Hows my lighting? T5's a better option the Mh lighting? considering the amount of growth vs energy consumption
planning on using soil for a while until i build up some confidence in my growing abilities
any pointers or fun facts i should look into?
