meaning someone else wrote it.
The whole book and all of its contents were written by a machine, but they were Obama's words, just like the info in the cover. Or did you think that publishers just make things up about people and then the writer just has to live with the lie?

Of course they don't think that. That would idiotic.

Oh wait... You mean they really believe some random jacket writer picked some random place for some random author who happen to run for president later so it had to be changed?

Gruber was so right about these guys.

Sad thing is, it shouldn't matter. We should be allowed to vote for Putin if that's who we wanted in office. Thinking that being born on this plot of land instead of that plot of land somehow makes someone more qualified is bigotry isn't it?

Even if he didn't write it, there is no way it goes 20 some years of saying kenya without his knowledge.

The proof of that is the fact that it changed right when it had to.
i explained this to you men before.

it's called creative license.

similar to airbrushing all those girls in the mags and thinking they really look that way IRL.

they DON'T. and it's NOT.

you sure can AND without retaliation from the government.

it's called "write-in".

Just remember that when some republican is found to have falsified info in a book that would disqualify him for the presidency.
Now don't forget, its just "Creative License" to lie in your bio.

Remember when Bush called out for the nations of the world to end torture, all the while in the backrooms he was authorizing it?
That's like Obama claiming that Obamacare wasn't a tax, then the supreme's classified it as ummmm let me think here...oh yeah! A TAX!!

Sure, it happens all the time. We always hear about authors having to change jacket bios after a decade or so of having it wrong.

I think 20/20 did a special on it.

Sky, he used Kenya to his advantage. I personally see nothing wrong with it. It made him sound more interesting, helped sell books, and there is no way he knew at that time he would run for president (unless you agree with the manchurian conspiracy nuts).

From an objective point of view outside of politics, can you really believe he had no knowledge of or input into what his jacket bio says about himself for all those years? I can't imagine anyone getting their first book published and not knowing what the inside jacket cover say, not having any friends or family let him know what it says, not having his kids ask, Daddy? you were born in Kenya? I thought you said Hawaii?

You honestly believe nobody in his family or close to the family noticed or knew? You believe he didn't feel proud enough to read it himself? Gruber is so right.

Its rampant, why just the other day I had one of my books published. I claimed I was from China and that people should follow my advice about investing in the Chinese markets.

All of my books have a different place of birth for my jacket. I like to let my publisher decide and surprise me. I have only published 4, but I've read 3 of the bios already, I'll get to the 4th someday....

in light of the past few days..i'm thinking wrong analogy..whoops!

In late 2003 Hambali recanted most of the significant information he had provided to interrogators during the use of the CIA’s enhanced interrogation techniques, recantations CIA officers assessed to be credible. He had provided the false information in an attempt to reduce the pressure on himself … and to give an account that was consistent with what he assessed the questioners wanted to hear.

since there are no gif's i present to you:

So what you are saying is, that I was wrong about BUsh and he never gave a speech calling for the nations of the world to end torture practices while he himself was authorizing torture?
So Bush gave the speech and then there was no torture? That is what you are saying. You seem to think I am somehow defending Bush here, but am not, I am accusing him of authorizing torture on innocent people, while telling everyone else to not ever do torture. But here you are saying I am wrong.

Are you really this fucking stupid? Do you have ANY idea what you are talking about?

I say so what too. That doesn't mean I'll ever stop pointing out the stupidity that says he never knew or noticed what his own jacket bio said for years.

Our president won the coveted lie of the year, but on THIS you believe him.

Thats what I was doing as well, yet you said I was WRONG.
Woops, just a verification of your intelligence once again.

you are so much fun to play with:hug:

have you been able to figure out the one narcotic sold OTC, yet?

i asked sheskank since she's so smart..curiously, no answer.

citation.

show me where he acknowledged this.
Geez...

He never denied being a lizard man from the Qualtong galaxy but I don't really think he is.

Let it go Sky, it is just another lie in a long list of lies this man is known for. Believing what you are trying to claim (that he never knew what his bio said and had nothing to do with it) is exactly the type of thing Gruber was talking about.

I can't imagine you making that same argument for any other living human after their first book is published. Getting published is BFD. I save clippings just when I make the local news. (just a lie Buck, don't scour newspapers trying to find my name to post here).

I was curious about this and was going to google but you said no googling please.

I'm going to guess Sudafed? is it classified as a narcotic now?

Going to google... (I won't tell, I just can't not know anymore:))
