another hint: this OTC item is missing one molecule, which does not allow it to cross the blood-brain barrier..that's why it can be sold OTC.not that i would, but i've often wondered if you were able to take intravenously what the high would be like.

If you will notice, the 10MG ( x 8 )version is not on the controlled drugs list, just the 100mg dose version. Anything under 100mg is legal to sell OTC, but like cough medicine you can only get 1 every few days.
I can go buy some right now OTC from the pharmacist, but it will only contain enough Codeine to be under the 100Mg limit (the whole bottle has 8 doses at 10MG per dose. Totally legal narcotic that can be purchased OTC.
