Considering quitting indoor grow

Sitting on my couch watching north woods law.... I see blue and red flashing lights come flying into my apartment complex parking lot. My gf and I live in a townhouse which is in a complex type thing. I nearly shit my pants. Currently I have a small 2 plant cfl grow in my basement about week 2 flower. Small but still jail time in my state.

I quickly ran down to stash the plants and dismantled my grow box (take 2 mins).

Turns out the neighbors 2 homes to my left were fighting or whatever. Still scared me, tonight could have been my night.

Do cops knock first to get probable cause for a warrant or do they just barge right in? First off nobody knows but me a my woman.

I really think this is gonna be my last full crop indoors. I have been planing an outdoor grow for next year an I will only veg those plants indoors for a few weeks. I just do t want to run the risk of an indoor grow. Inputs appreciated.

Law enforcement procedures vary from state to state, but usually for a search and seizure warrant they need strong probable cause first. You would be surprised by how specific those warrants have to be, and the repercussions for the department if they raided a house that wound up being clean would be pretty severe, so they aren't gonna come bursting in on a hunch, they will wait til they have something pretty concrete, at least as per my understanding via friends and family who are either lawyers or law enforcement.

OP you need a t-break man, the ganja is making you too paranoid. They aren't going to know shit unless someone snitches on you, i have never seen a grow that small get busted lol. Also how the heck are you too paranoid to grow indoors but outdoors is okay? You realize they have helicopters right? C'mon mannnnnn

I feel there is less chance with an outdoor grow. Less conected directly to me if anything at all. It's remote as heck too!

seriously though, that's exactly why they make shows like these, to try and scare growers into thinking their small grows are gonna land them in jail..
if you're in maine, why don't you get a mmj card, that way you can grow legally?

Lol, so you will have a plant outside where people can easily see you, ala game wardens who are way more experienced than you in the woods, and you think that will be less sketchy than a cfl grow in your basement with less electricity being pulled than a tv/Xbox combo? I am extremely experienced in these woods. I know them like the back of my hand! To be honest ovr spent more time in the woods than the wardens, seriously.

I'm not saying nobody will come across my outdoor grow ever, but it is very very slim.

I just feel there is more liability with an indoor grow than with an outdoor one.

Not worried about choppers with cfl. I'm worrie about someone smelling it and calling the cops.

If you don't have a carbon filter then you are missing one of the most basic parts of a grow system. If you do, then there should be no reason to worry.

I would be scared. A massive grow like this is a huge target for the Feds. Seriously dude 2 plants.. Read up on your laws, if you don't think the juice is worth the squeeze than shut it down.. Your causing yourself a lot of stress over something that isn't going to benefit you very much.

I have a diy carbon filter. No smell that I can detect but then again I live in it every day so I may not detect it easily. I think I'm just gonna stop worrying lol
