I mean, think about it. Wouldn't a plain-clothes man with a big long gun in Target kinda scare you in this day and age?
Ask any cop you want. All the ones I've talked to or heard speak on this subject say that open carry is a bad idea.
Even the ultra-rightwing NRA shooting instructor who issued me my concealed carry "pre-license" (so to speak) heavily advised AGAINST open carry.

You know you can still get a permit to buy fully automatic weapons and another to build them.Yeah, why can't I carry a fully automatic sub machine gun with a silencer? If that's who I want to be, then why not? As long as I'm not shooting people it SHOULD be OK, right?
I'm not trying to insult you. We just obviously differ significantly on this issue.
Nope, not one bit. The gun cannot possibly hurt me.I mean, think about it. Wouldn't a plain-clothes man with a big long gun in Target kinda scare you in this day and age?
i hope your dumb hillbilly's win the darwin award but round here in Tx the sheriff is plain clothed wearing a cowboy hat at the feed store. you might have a shitty world but i don't.I guess there are situations where open carry might work. But I can't imagine it would work here where I live.
But a man with the gun could.Nope, not one bit. The gun cannot possibly hurt me.
He could hurt you with out the gun.But a man with the gun could.
he just said that 2 posts above...there you go again..blindly spouting your beliefs. But a man with the gun could.
The whole point is that people carrying rifles into every-day stores is understandably disruptive in the many places where such has never been seen. That's a real problem, which has nothing to do with the philosophical ideas related to guns.He could hurt you with out the gun.
I much prefer "Saturday Night Special", by Lynyrd Skynyrd.this calls for some Lil Wayne
Yeah, the MAN.But a man with the gun could.
Damn man, if I could play Skynyrd...I'd do anything.skynard only had one good song...freebird...as a musician i had to play that and sweet home alabama so many damn times i ain't never picked up a guitar since.
