TGA subcool?

My first grow was an Agent Orange from clone. Dealt with a first time grower and his CFLs pretty well, and wound up quite frosty to boot. Threw a few nanners, but nothing extreme, and I am pretty sure that the fault was on my end and not the genetics, didn't even have timers or a truly lightproof box, so nanners were probably gonna pop up no matter what I grew. Smoke was spicy and fruity, more like citrus oil than orange juice. Will probably try TGA again, but I'm not in a huge rush to do so. If/when I do I'm leaning towards Cheesequake.

Freedom of Seeds has a fem version of CheeseQuake that's pretty good - CheeseDom.

I finally got around to popping 3 Agent Orange. I figure it's a can't lose situation. Anything tasty that results - even if potency is avg, which has been reported by some
TGA growers [ not the 'hands up - don't shoot' crowd ] is a win. It can always be used to mix in w/ the rest
of the lousy tasting Blood Orange that's taking up space in the cupboard.

As you can tell, no one will deny the smells and flavors, yet overall praises seem to be lacking, with the exception of Holy Roller, who I'm sure will find something tasty in his quest with AO. He prefers his strains to smell and taste good, effects seem second in his lineup.

I have a Jilly Bean from seed that I am very very happy with. the smoke is upbeat and energized and yet you don't get that paranoia feeling. TGA list it as 60/40 split sativa - indica
finished it smells like mango pineapple with a little citrus. I find it to be strong but then I don't have a huge tolerance ;-)
FYI seed was from Mo

Really?

Cheesequake is very good strain IMO. I had 4 females to chose from out of my pack, and while there was quite a bit of variation the plants were all very nice. It's probably the tastiest strain I've ever grown.

i found a legit ace of spades keeper in a 5 pack.

i have grown querkle, JTR, vortex and chernobyl ...........vortex was my favorite but i found a querkle pheno that everybody loves.
Etc.......

Yep and how many people have complained of intersexed plants on this board?

Yes keepers are different for everyone. But no one is claiming high end potency unless of course it's Quantum. Nonetheless I'm sure you'll find some tasty plants, Holy Roller. It's the one thing that TGA at least does right.

I love my Jacks cleaner 2...citrus/mango with a little fuel, and the potency and resin are both outstanding. If you put it and 3 other strains on a table and asked a random person to pick which one they wanted, almost everyone would pick the JC2, no matter what else was there. Even with a 70 day flower time, lots of late bananas(which if let go for 11 weeks would ruin the whole batch), and tall lanky plants with low yields, i just cant let it go... in fact I'm smoking it right now LOL...

And whats wrong with weed that smells and tastes good, you bunch of goddamn cash croppers? (just kidding)

Well all plants should throw nanners if you push them past harvest, it's if they do it before peak range of harvest where I'm annoyed.

Nothing wrong with liking good tasting/smelling cannabis. Just doesn't take the place of pure effect is all in my list of desires, which I know differ from others. I'm not too picky I suppose. I'm just not a flavor chaser. Love florals, the hashy, the chemical/dead animal, baby poo smells, fruits, candies, pines and all. Some I prefer more than others but as long as it's good cannabis, that's all I care about.

I'm sorry....I forget.

How many TGA strains have you had hermie on you....or lacked potency?

Smoke probably close to 7 or so, grown zero. I'd rather learn from others mistakes. Besides last I checked growing and smoking an actual end product are not the same thing. One is a process the other is enjoying (or not depending on how it is) the final product. Surely you'd know my Holy Rolling friend that anyone can judge an end product despite not growing it

Eta: I'm not saying there are not gems to be found, but I'm not bothering with the strains unless someone has a clone they know well and recommend. Something I sample and just have to have. Plus I give credit where credit is due, at least the strains smell and taste good.

But more than enough smoking experience on TGA. Only one I think had a punch was Chernobyl. The rest were rather lack luster in effects.

I know many things in varying degrees and areas. I do know a lot in some that I've trained in and studied extensively, basics in others and things like sports fuck all. Yet I do know I don't know many things and that every day is a new day to learn more about the fascinating world around us. Sadly I'll never know it all. Obtaining knowledge is a quest one never completes. With every answer to a question, only more arrive.

See honesty. It's never a bad thing. Had an awesome cut, lost it, went to revisit and had similar experience as others with some of TGA gear. No reason for you to take it personally my Holy Rolling friend
