Yellowing Leaves - 3wks in

So we're about 3 wks into bud using a 400w HPS and organic home-made compost. I fed with fish emulsion in veg and switched over to earth juice bloom as soon as I saw pistils. This fertilizer contains zero Nitrogen, so I'm assuming that the plants are starving for N. I have been adding fish emulsion with every watering lately to try and avert this. The bud-sites are set, and calyxes are swelling weekly, so is this really a problem? IME though, this is too early for the plants to be doing this. Any advice is appreciated

Looking ok, at around 12 days in. I was still using fish emulsion at the time.

Today's pic- tops are fine, but many bottom fans have dropped off. Seems like a Nitrogen issue (?)

Yeah, the HPS spectrum doesn't help with photos. I changed from a MH to HPS about 2 wks in -

One school of thought says one should keep their plants nice and green from start to finish. If she's taking N ions from her leaves it means she needs them. I would feed a mild dose of a high N fertilizer. Keep in mind you have been feeding P and K with the bloom formula so a 5-0-0 or something like that should work for you. If you plan to stay organic your girls will suffer longer as the nutrients will have to go through the process of breaking down before they become available. If your soil is not full of microbes that can take a while. Mineral Salts will be available immediately. In the future try to feed a more balanced NPK, your girls will thank you.

(5-1-1) We grew some western winds this past summer and I fed with only fish emulsion until the plants were 30+ days in. They were nice and green and didn't start yellowing till late fall. So, should I just switch over to only fish emulsion? I bought the earth juice especially for bloom, and now my leaves are yellowing/dying too early.

So, should I just switch over to only fish emulsion? I bought the earth juice especially for bloom, and now my leaves are yellowing/dying too early.

Fish poo will not turn yellow to green...

Looks like it need a good prune man when they get 2 bushy and can't get enough light the leaves will die off like that I thought n def starts at the top

Danksta's pics tell me amended K use and colder night temps. ( K ain't bad )
I suspect some added Mg (at amounts higher then 5ml per feed) and S ....
He push's his P a bit to much,,,,but not as bad as most try to.
He also runs longer then the seed breeders report says (8 weeks = 9-10 weeks).

Can you tell me why I said that?

I would just feed the N source. If you have been giving them the bloom there should be sufficient P and K already in the medium. Remember what I said earlier, she is taking N ions from her own leaves because she NEEDS it.
