Good luck, do you plan to log your grow? You can always put fans on the outside to draw air out/push air in, depends on what kind of fans you got if you can do that tho.

This time around im just jotting Notes here and there. Next time around im going to flower 4 plants topped twice in 5 gallon buckets. With an elbow sticking out the bottom and a tube running up to top of bucket. I'm able the pump the water back in and mix it up and then draw out some water with syringe to test Ppm and ph and also can flush out out nutrients when changing without moving plants.

4 of them would max out a 4x4 space at over 38 watts a sq/ft. 3 would be the minimum for a 4x4 at 29 watts sq/ft. Two RW-150's and two RW-75's would give a more even coverage for a 4x4 at 29 sq/ft.

I've read you wan a fan blowing across the top of canopy and if you look at my thread pics I have a 1x6 vertically agaisnt back wall of tent with another small chunk of 1x6 that fans attached to and can move up and down with light hanger. Barely fits now. Only holes on tent are 6" or so on top and bottom.

These watts per square foot numbers I'm quoting are for higher quality LED's and the lower quality units require more watts per sq/ft.

that seems like too mich mix and match Id like to have all one light or same lights that connect. Keep it clean in the tent. And also I see a problem with my kind setup is I can't raise the light very high can only be about 2' from the roof of tent

The RW75 is a smaller version of the RW150 same color spectrum just smaller and easier to position in a small area.

So 2 150s and 2 75s would be ultimate lighting for a 4x4?

I would do 4 RW150's but if you cant fit cause of your fan you may want to go with 2 RW150s and 2 RW75s. with 4 RW150s you would have great intensity for that area.

The Area 51 lights can be daisy chained together. The Onyx lights have a 15' cord on the power supply so the PS could be outside the tent but they run their lights a little harder and have a smaller foot print so I think you need more head room for them,I own both

Four RW-150's,620 watts would be the max for a 4x4 and three,465 watts would be the minimum I would use for a 4x4 but two 150's and two 75's would give you 465 watts but a more even distribution of the light.

I did a side by side with a Onyx bloom and a RW-150 in separate 3x3 tents and the RW out performed the Onyx. There was a larger price difference between the two panels at the time.

Onyx and Area 51 are both working on panel upgrades and both will be using Cree XP-L's that will increase intensity and efficiency. But I'm sure the prices will be going up and they may be at least a couple months away from release.

Oh you can't get them yet? See in so sceptical to buy anythjng that's brand spanking new. Yea they might perform better but the lifespan couldn't have been proven by the public yet

I'm sure they will both keep their same warranties and I have no worries about the change. All they are doing is going from Cree's old best LED's to Cree's new best LED's. The Cree 10 watt XP-L's are the most efficient LED's on the market right now at up to 200 lm/wt. The Onyx will probably stay all white and drive them harder to reduce costs. The Area 51 is suppose to be another red and white but with separate dimmers added instead of switches.

Can't wait for the new light to come out I plan to buy one cause it sounds really bad ass for big hard nugs.
